So, after ordering it on Christmas 2021, I finally got it: my 2022 2-door Big Bend in gorgeous Area 51!
The fine folks at Ford Alghanim took incredibly good care of me! Unlike other car dealerships in the country, they knew what a Bronco was, and the massive cult following behind it. Knowing that, they gave me constant updates, reassurances, and special care separate from the other Ford orders.
That's especially important, considering how rare it is to know how a Bronco order has gone along in foreign markets, particularly one like the Middle East. From what the dealers told me, mine was the first 2022 model in the country, and a much rarer 2-door order on top of that. Considering that there's only ~400-~<1,000 Broncos in the Middle East, I'm absolutely chuffed to have the honor of driving this car, especially as the first car of my own!
To be honest, I fully expected for the order to have been cancelled, especially considering all the horror stories I've been hearing. To have received this car, as a foreign market order, and with zero dealer mark-up at all, is nothing short of a miracle!
And the dealer was just as surprised as I was, too, evidently. They offered me $5,000 to cancel my order once the Bronco had arrived, just so they could try to re-sell it to those who've offered much higher to get it ASAP (Yes, there are people like that here, too. Instead of just waiting 6-12 months, they'd gladly pay much higher mark-ups.) Of course, the dealership was in no way pushy about it, and it was just given in a 'just in case' sort of mindset. The dealership experience was fantastic, and now, my experience with this wonderful car is going to be just as fantastic!
Can't wait to see what it'll be like, being a Ford boy!
