Tried to put them on my order without knowing what they are…learned they remove the real rock slider for a step that has what “looks” like a rock slider, but it’s not designed to support vehicle weight…just the weight of you on the step…so I stayed with the factory rock slider. Otherwise, they look nice.

glad i didn't get them then. I'll spend the $550 on IAG steps instead and just remove them if i need to

I wonder it they'll work with the factory rock rails that come with the Badlands?

I have them on my order and figure I'll buy the OEM ones 2nd hand and swap them when I go off-roading. People are swapping out and selling the OEM rock rails left and right so its easier to find a deal on those.

I have the AIG mud flaps and there is plenty of clearance.

$1,150 aftermarket from Ford

I like that they are removable but interesting it is designed different than the OEM rock rail with such similar look. Seeing the P/N's above I'd be interested to know if the step itself really doesn't fit an OEM rock rail.
