The Bronco 2 aged well in my opinion. They seemed hideous when new, now not so bad 👍🏻
I think the worst part is the side glass on the top, the way it goes all the way up. If there was a strip of fiberglass above it, body/top color, I think that would improve the look 100%. Nice Broncos, enjoy!

Over the past year, I have been hiding in the background admiring everyone's postings of their fantastic Broncos. I thought I would share.

What I spend too much time obsessing over: a '22 OB in and a '90 Bronco II. There is no comparison in the rides but I love them both nonetheless. Thanks for letting me share!

I have an 1989 Bronco II and I love it! I have been hiding and watching as well as the new ones become more available but haven't made the leap yet. Though I will!! Good looking pair!
I absolutely love it!

The Bronco II was one of those vehicles that seemed cool ... until you drove it. No thank you.

I had a 1984 Bronco II, with the Vacation Land package, which was a limited edition in Maine. It had a wheelbase shorter than an Escort and a high center of gravity. After I almost rolled it, I traded it in for a station wagon. One of my many mistakes, should’ve kept it.

The BII was also Ranger based, same as the original Explorer that ultimately replaced it. Always liked these but never owned one, had a buddy that had one for a little while, his was a hot mess of issues kinda reminds me of the current rollout.

Amazing to see a Bronco II in such good condition, and from Canada with those weather conditions, looks great!

I don’t know if it’s the OP or @Administrator who keeps changing the title of this thread, but please stop. It makes it really hard to keep track of which threads are which when the titles keep changing. This happens way too often. And it makes some of the responses make no sense, either…

Thank you.

30 years ago next spring my dad drove 12yo me cross country in his (since sold) Bronco II from Milwaukee WI to Yellowstone for a four day hike via the Badlands, Devil's tower and many other sites along the way. Paper maps only, no hotels, no interstate. It was quite an adventure. His 70th birthday is next week and my Bronco is scheduled to be built the day before.

He's still an active guy so my gift to him is another cross country trip wherever he wants to go... this time in my Bronco.

The Bronco II holds a special place in my heart and it's great to see it side by side the new gen.
Thanks for sharing.

In the 80s and 90s I owned two full size broncos and a Bronco II.
The Bronco II was ideal for rock crawling up creek beds and had no equal on ice.
The problem with my Bronco II was the engine; first one lasted 20 thousand miles and the replacement was going out as it approached 20 thousand miles.
Granted I had larger tires on my Bronco II, but the feel is very similar to my 6G broncos moreso than either of my full size broncos.

I have similar memories of a trip with my dad in his Bronco II when I was 7 or 8. We went from Albuquerque to Dinosaur National Monument since I was obsessed with dinosaurs. It was my first real road trip and it was awesome.

I also remember my brother and I fighting over the front seat every day when he picked us up from daycare. I will always have a real soft spot in my heart for the Bronco II, no matter what people say about them. Ranger-based Broncos FTW!
