Like many others I finally received the production line photo yesterday of my build, which is currently making its way through Oklahoma to Texas right now. After looking at the photo a few times my eyes noticed a strange color from the driver side windshield accessory mount cover. At first, I thought it might be a way the light was reflecting, but this seems to be a completely different color cover. Does anyone else notice this? Any idea of what Bronco color that may be? Also, I have looked at previous threads of people who have had to replace these and it seems when order they are not painted, so it does not look like a quick and easy solution.

My only hope is that this was caught during final inspections.... but I am not holding my breath on that one. Has anyone else seen this occur?

I see carb Gray at the edges, just looks like it must have a sticker or tape on it.

I'm thinking it's protective tape.

Definitely looks like tape when zoomed in.

Protective tape used on painted parts during assembly, translucent pale blue in color - post-build QC should catch that...if not, then the dealer prep will.

I would be more concerned with the fact that this Outer Banks doesn't have body color painted fenders. Is that not a thing anymore?

That's got the Sasquatch package and no painted fenders for Sasquatch, OBX or not.

I don’t think the Sasquatch ever did, I don’t know much though.

I'm thinking how comical it is that people see these images from MAP and suddenly think they are Quality Control experts. haha.
