Been reading about this in the context of other vehicles but haven't seen anything specific to Bronco - anyone know how, if at all, it will affect my ride? I have the OEM Badlands wheel (8 inch wide) with 33 tires and just looking to go to a 7.5 wide - other specs work and the offset is +30 which should not be an issue - i see that the OEM tire has a wheel range of 7.5 to 8.5 but what, if anything, different should i expect? thanks!

Thanks I appreciate that I really mean will the narrower wheel affect the ride at all? I have read on other forums about cars that it may make the ride more "plush"/less responsive but I wasn't sure if that would still be true with a large wheel/SUV type set up

Given the reduction in width is about 5%, I would not expect much change in ride performance unless it is a real low profile tire.

Thanks Mike, great looking set up - what width on your tire and offset on your wheels? Trying to gauge my potential poke - the offset website suggests 3/4 inch but wondering what yours is

What are the wheels you are looking at that are 7.5" wide? You need to make sure the hub bore is big enough to fit the Bronco (at least 93.1 mm I think) if it's not a Ford wheel and the lug pattern needs to be 6 on 5.5" or 6 on 139.7 mm.

Thanks just circled back to this thread Jeff, these are the wheels
https://www.roadreadywheels.com/products/2005-2015-17x7-5-toyota-tacoma-aluminum-wheel-rim
They are going to need hub rings but my mechanic does not believe it will be an issue. The bolt pattern works - based on my math, I am expecting an overall poke of 3/4 inches, which I can live with and may actually like over the OEM (not sure). Planning on getting them installed tomorrow and will have pics to share
Thanks, appreciate the group's assistance on this

Happy to report that the wheels are on and it rides great, no issues with wheel shimmy, etc. Poke is minimal - essentially flush. Closest thing to a classic "mag" wheel in polished finish and a high offset (+30) - and given the wheel is only 7.5 wide, the poke is only 3/4 inch
Thanks for everyone's help on this
