My update was done over the air last week, and yesterday while driving my screen posted up that I needed to lower cabin temperature and the screen was really hot to the touch. My windows were down, top was up and it was 80 degrees. I never had this problem before the update. (Nor did I have an issue with my screen) Anyone else have this happen since the new update?

Nothing here yet. Updated last week, been in the 80s-90s here. But fingers crossed. Maybe try disconnecting the negative cable from the battery let it sit for a bit. See if that works.

Yesterday, I just had the screen tell me to lower the cabin temperature due to touchscreen overheating. I have never seen this before. I did turn on the A/C and the error went away. I haven't received a software update since March 29, 2026. Which version did yours just update to?

The update that was just installed is 26.2.1.6.5.3
Recall 26S09. I plan on having the top off quite a bit this summer, so it’ll be hard to lower those temps outside of staying in the shade

Isn’t the infotainment suffering an over heating issue the reason for the software recall?

I am still on 25.2.1.6.5.2. So I will see what happens when mine updates to the latest version. I live in the desert SW so we won’t have any cool days for awhile!

I think the recall was because it would shutdown when it overheated, which meant there was no backup camera. Looks like their solution was to just nag you to cool it down or it will just cook itself. I wonder how many of them have to cook before they are forced to come up with a real solution....
