I'm in the market for my first ever Bronco and I've been really struggling to decide on what color to get. For the last 10 years, I have had TWO daily driver in Dodge's Granite Crystal Metallic (I had a Dodge Challenger in this color, and then moved into a Ram 1500 in the same exact color). While it's a nice color, it's about a generic "gunmetal gray" as you can get, and I've definitely gotten bored of it after a decade.

I was really hoping to get a "fun" color for my next car, but Ford Motor Company is channeling their inner Henry Ford and offer you any color you want...so long as it is black gray!

Ford briefly announced Orange Fury was coming to the 2026 Bronco and I fell in love; I was set in stone that that was going to be the color I got! Was waiting for them to hit dealer lots...only for Ford to pull the color before it even hit the assembly line. So now I'm in an endless loop of trying to decide on a color from what might possibly be the worst color offering for the Bronco since its release. I find nothing striking, nothing that really pops out at me as looking spectacular on this car. It's effectively become a choice between the better of all evils.

I've tried asking friends and family for help, but none them are car enthusiast to really understand the dilemma. So I'm asking this sub for help!

I've created a survey Google Forms with all the colors that are available to me (I wanted to put a poll here, but I don't think the forum allows for that feature). In the form are the ten Ford Bronco color offerings currently available to me. A few caveats - the form includes 2026 colors, 2025 leftover colors currently sitting on lots within a 100 mile radius of me, and ONLY colors available on the Big Bend trim as that is where my budget is.

If you could take a moment a vote on which color offering you like the most, I'd really appreciate it. This decision has been almost as hard as when I had to pick a color to paint my classic car. Actually...I think more so, since there is such a limited color pallet to choose from. I'm of half a mind to just wrap the damn thing! 😭 😂

Anyway, thanks for listening to my indecisiveness - link to the Google Form below:

Note: Carbonized Gray is no longer available.
Yes, neither is Eruption Green and Azure Gray - but they're still sitting on lots and can be found.

That said...Carbonized Gray is likely my absolute bottom pick, considering it's effectively the same color I've had for the last decade!

I've owned 19 vehicles, 8 of them have been white. While not "exciting," it's easy to add accent colors, easy to keep clean, and will never go out of style IMO. I get white because I like the white, black & chrome combo.

I was originally shopping for an Oxford White Ranger Raptor, but after test driving a few I realized it was not comfortable enough for me. (I'm 6'6") So... I said "I'll get a white Bronco instead." Well parked next to a white Badlands SAS was a Marsh Gray OBX SAS and I could not stop looking at the Marsh Gray Bronco. That's what I ended up buying. It's a subtle color, which I think works well on the already visually bold Bronco especially with SAS.

Moral of the story, go visit a few dealers and see which one you can't stop looking at.

EDIT: If you want something exciting, Ruby Red or Eruption Green and get it ceramic coated. Those metallic colors look amazing with a good shine but get dirty easy. And if you're serious about getting it wrapped, then get black and you can skip the door jambs if you want since they will blend into the interior. And if/when you sell it, peel the wrap and you'll have perfect black paint under it which is hard to find on a used car.

That’s why i chose Race Red on my ‘24 Big Bend. The dealer told me the don’t sell red ones very often. 🤔

Look at most any car lot now days and its “white, grey, silver or Black with the occasional blue.

i just can’t follow the masses and be a dreary car driver. 🙄

Good luck finding your perfect color. It’s out there. 😎👍

Too bad you don’t have access to Hot Pepper Red. It has been my favorite color on any vehicle in a long long time. I too had a TRX in Granite. It was an awesome metallic color. HPR gives you the same metallic pop without being boring.

When I was ordering my 2021 I really hoped they would have a true orange, but alas they only had a school bus yellow. My second choice was Velocity Blue I've had it almost 5 years and I still love how beautiful it is 😍 it's bright enough to scratch my "fun color" itch.

Why ask us? You're the one who's going to have to live with it. You should know yourself.

As to colors I like? Eruption Green Metallic and Velocity Blue Metallic. But I ordered Area 51 and switched to Cactus Grey. Neigher are currently availabe. White was never an option. I just don't like how it looks on a Bronco. If I was ordering today I'd probably pick Desert Sand. I don't like the green tinge of Marsh Grey, it just bothers me.

If I was never going off road I would have picked one of the first two. I think the ladies would like them too (I'm single). But I expect scratches and dents I might want to have repaired. Also I tend to keep vehicles a very long time. Metallic colors are difficult for a body shop to blend/match. Sooner or later the repair will become obvious. Same with most solid colors. There's also the problem of the desert sun making paint fade, particularly red and sometimes black.

I picked a color that would be easy for a body shop to match/blend, would be less likely to show scratches and doesn't show Arizona dust. Not as fun as the Blue or Green.

There's a lot of old Ford colors I'd really like to see on the Bronco. Windveil was great on my first S197 Mustang. I'm not sure it would look good on a Bronco, but I'd like to see it to make the determination myself. Highland green off the Bullitt mustangs would look fantastic. Kona Blue would look great. My own Mustang's Vista Blue would look better than the velocity blue we have now, but I'd prefer even darker. I think a quality olive drab would look great on these.

Velocity blue is the bees knees, but that ruby red is hot too. So dumb that we only have a few color options anymore. I did like the Cactus Gray though. Almost looked a tad blue or mint green in certain light.
