MIC colors?
(Molded in Clay... get it?)
@Rick AstleyI think the sport is the “correct” CGI representation. I read another thread (can’t remember the name) of some who went to dealer that had color swatches and said the cactus gray was just a concrete flat gray. I’d prefer that over any kind of bluish tint. Untimely I’d take lead foot all day long
Yes, the Sport has appeared to go multiple directions. It's also been with pre-production color in the Mexican facility. Not 100% certain that we're getting the final factory paint with these rigs (note that they have different license plates, these are not the same vehicle)There are a few videos on the Sport forum that look closer to the Bronco mint green. It’s a color I need to see in person before ordering. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll go a different route.
Haven't had too much to add to your thread. There are a lot of pics there!
Yup, been following all these CG threads. Ultimately where i'm at on this subject is that I can push my specific build back simply by ordering the gloss black roof and sticking with Race Red. By the time that build would be eligible for VIN, Cactus Gray will be out and I can see it in person and make final decision for CG+white or RR+black.
Huh, I don't know? The windows are pretty dark. I thought the clay was white though? I just assumed it was real.Wasn't that Bronco just a clay model?
Those rims on the Bronco are the same as I have on my 2019 Raptor.I want to know where the heck that 2 door Cactus Gray with the paint matched top went. haven't seen it since that first pic. Just dissipated. Those early SAS rims are killer too, or might be just 33s because its a BL. Looks like it has a tire cover too.
Maybe it’s your monitor but that can matches the big bronco CGI closer than the Sport CGIBased on the paint cans at Bronco East: Bronco Sport CGI is the correct color.
The color is gray; however, it changes in perceived tone based on its surroundings.

I agree it changes. I’m just saying it’s closer to the big bronco CGI as evidenced. As noted, “cool” Monitor setting or camera filters can change it too. ??All I can tell you is that the color is a straight gray In person. Not blue, not green. The first picture was under full sun at my back.
another picture in full cloud cover is below:
Looks like battleship gray vs. mint julep. I’ll take the former.OK Ford, what the hell...these are clearly two different colors.
Which one is right?
I love the one on the Bronco Sport, and hate it on the Bronco.
But I KNOW they are the same color in reality.
