I vastly prefer the color of your Toyota. I had hoped A51 was more blue with no greenish or teal undertones. Having seen it in person, it went from my top choice around 5th. I'd love something closer to Calvary Blue for 22, since I'm a late res holder.

Ford has lightning blue and velocity blue that are both more "true" blues and closer to the Toyota than A51 would be....
I like that the A51 is a more unique shade and probably would have gone with it, but my last 4 vehicles have been blue, so I thought it was time for a change.

I can't get LB b/c I don't have a First Edition. I did look at a VB earlier this week. I can live with it, but I like the Toyota blue more. Also thinking about AMB. But right now, I think my top pick is carbonized gray. I might swing over to velocity blue unless Ford has something more like the Toyo blue for 22. We'll see.

Lightning Blue and Velocity Blue are both darker and metallic. I don't find them close at all to Cavalry Blue, other than being shades of blue.

51 sucks. Its like they were overpainting a grey car & only had enough blue for a single skinny coat

They're certainly closer to the calvary than A51 though, which was the point of my original response to the post saying they wanted something closer to calvary for 22...
From left to right: Antimatter Blue, Velocity Blue, Lightning Blue.

That Badlands badge with A51. Woof!
I had to cover up the badge just to compare the 2 colors.
I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, but I just can’t get over it.
