I opened my email....Subject: Bronco Order Update 4:32pm
It does not mention or list any of those delays mentioned in the announcement. I didn't have them anyway.
It does talk about the Complimentary Sound Deadening Headliner.
The only consolation mentioned is the $250 Bronco Off-Roadeo
So, it appears that I am still in the running for a '21

Did your emails specifically spell out those items announced today that "you had actually ordered?"
SOCK MONKEY!!!! YES!!!! My grandmother made those for years! (y) :)

HMMM...let me guess?? drives a BMW, ordering an outer banks...Definitely Modelo!
For beer, Heineken which I’m sure would have been your second guess. More of a bourbon, gin and tequila fan here. Not all at the same time though.

No one "Needs" a Bronco. Not like this is J&J or Pfizer announcing delays in vaccine production....
I need my Bronco more than I need a vaccine. 🤷‍♂️😉

confused why the price only goes down $495?? originally they took $1895 off. Then when I added it back on with the late availability it went up $1895. So now it comes off and I get $1000 in points and only $495 off???

No. You’ll get $1895 off from removing mod top
You’ll get $495 off no matter what for free headliner
You’ll get $1000 in FordPass points

Ah thanks read that last part quick, guess not horrible. Originally was skipping it to get it earlier and then saw the black and figured if I was waiting might as well wait for the roof. Not so bad I guess then.

My concerns are: interests rates shooting up between June and whenever in 2022 my vehicle might arrive. With gas hading north of $3.00 gallon, the Bronco is not well suited as a daily driver.
But on the positive side, I have Elijah Craig and Jim Beam as my friends.

The whole reservation system is quite convoluted, especially given their model which is dependent on a network of independent dealers. I think they want to be like Tesla (and Apple) but the problem is that they don't have the capabilities to deal directly with the consumer. Their dealer network is like the wild west and obviously their supply-chain out of control. Then you get into the whole allocation shit show as well. The reality is that they would be better off if we could simply order online, see the actual status of an order, make changes as we see fit (provided the car is not in production). But all this is dependent on their having what they are selling.

What I really hate about the reservation system is the fact that people who are ready to put money on the table are actually getting pushed around by a significant number of people who probably can't even afford to buy the car. Lot's of these "reservations" and converted orders will go south at the financing stage (after the car is built and delivered). In my opinion, they should have simply opened up for orders which actually get placed first come first serve once the dotted line was signed.
lol yeah right with the Biden Stimmy checks flowing like mad. People upgrading from mid package to Lux like it’s nothing money ain’t a thing 🤓
