I didn't read through all 9 pages, but has anybody mentioned that a 37" tire is going to be pushing it for that Dana 44? Rear will probably be ok, but I can see that front going *POP* if somebody gets on it against a rock with the lockers in.

I've snapped a front D44 with 35" tires and a wimpy jeep 4.0 just by getting on it at the wrong time.

Looking at the size of the hood sticking out in front I am thinking that the surround view is gonna be an important option.

I've always found large visible-to-the-driver hoods to be much easier to drive. Get in a car where you can't see the hood and it's much harder to gauge.

I'm really looking forward to feeling like I'm back in my old square body.

I actually think it will be cool in the Bronco. Makes it feel more truck-like. Just thinking of visibility on trails. Shouldn't be a big issue though.

In the sports car world I've owned many including Corvette and Porsche 911. For a sports car I prefer the 911 seating position and nose on the track. I can see where I'm going better. For the Bronco I think the hood will be cool.

I too was wondering why the driver appears so small and looked up some wrangler specs to compare:

Two door Wrangler:
Wheelbase 95.4"
Width 73.7"
Height 72"

Two door Bronco with Sasquatch:
Wheelbase 100"
Width 79.3"
Height 78.9"

The Bronco has a 4.6" longer wheelbase, is 5.6" wider, and 6.9" taller. This thing is yuge!

Compared to the Full-Size 1996 Bronco:

Height 74.4"

The new Bronco is very close to the size of the 90's model. That is a far cry from the 1st Gen dimensions.

You can play peekaboo by standing behind it:
