If anyone has emailed me in the last few weeks, and has not heard back, we apologize. We are still dealing with the email issue with our CRM tool. Sorry for any inconvenience. For the time being, please send your emails to [email protected]. Thank you! This will not affect your Bronco experience with Walnut Creek Ford.
Hi Shahram, emailing you now re: my rez status. Thanks! Nick

Hey Shahram, has Walnut Creek Ford been informed by Ford that all assigned Bronco build dates / VIN #'s have been pushed back 2-3 weeks, including FCTP vehicles?

Hi Todd, Thank you for your note. I was just speaking with our Ford rep, and he didn't mention that. Is that what you heard? I can circle back with him. He did mention that a solid portion would begin to schedule end of next week, and nothing has scheduled since the first week except for our original 13.. 2 priority orders, a couple first editions, and a few other units that had available options [like base/big bend with soft top]. I think that is one of the biggest takeaways of the last couple weeks is that the system is scheduling what is available, and it is not going in exactly reservation order.

Hello Shahram, Thanks following up. I think there's a problem with Ford's communication. We understand there are commodity constraints, I.E, semiconductors, MIC Tops, Tow Packages, etc. And I'm sure Ford is doing all they can to get our vehicles to us as soon as possible, and are trying to "wrap their heads around" the best way to do that. But better communication from Ford Corporate Headquarters sure would help. We've all been waiting so long for this vehicle, people are becoming impatient. The contradicting information we hear is confusing and frustrating. I'm not just talking about rumors on this or any other forum. It's the lack of official information from Ford, and the multiple delays that continue to happen. Ford needs to evaluate this situation in depth and come out with an official statement to Bronco Order Holders about what we can expect.

Hi Todd, I understand what you are saying, and couldn't agree with you more. I actually just received an email from Ford. According to Ford, Emails with official statement will be sent to people by the end of business, today.

MICHIGAN ASSEMBLY PLANT SHUT DOWN

This week Ford announced that the Michigan Assembly Plant (MAP), where Broncos are born, will be down the weeks of May 17 and May 24 due to the global semiconductor shortage, pushing back the build weeks for several Broncos including FCTP units and Customer Orders. This will not affect summer deliveries or overall 2021MY production levels because MAP will not have a traditional summer shutdown, a decision we made last month.

Customers with a modified build week started receiving emails from Ford on May 6. All affected customers will be notified by end of day today, May 7. Vehicle Visibility has also been updated to reflect any scheduling changes.

BRONCO JULY PRODUCTION SCHEDULING MEMO

Below is information to support conversations with your Bronco order holders about the upcoming July Production scheduling, which begins next Thursday, May 13.

Background

Β· Ford is investing millions of dollars to match production to orders by stockpiling parts and increasing capacity

Β· Continued challenges with hard top production will result in significantly more soft tops as % of production for July production; Reminder that mixes will shift by month

Β· Additionally, trailer tow and safari bar will be key scheduling constraints in July

Β· July production scheduling begins next week, May 13

Scheduling Process Explained

Ford's production process is dynamic and based on a number of real time factors including reservation timestamp, orders available for scheduling, part availability, and the number of Bronco vehicles each dealer receives. While timestamp is a key factor, the scheduling system will continue to go down the list until it finds a clean/eligible order based on that month’s production requirements and part availability. Make sure all your orders are ready for scheduling.

July Production Notes

Β· Soft Top Production Opportunity

o Customers looking to get their Bronco as soon as possible should consider changing their order from hard top to soft top by May 12, ahead of July production scheduling period

o Based on current mix of soft top production and the number of available orders in order bank, a large number of soft top orders with very late time stamps will schedule for July production

Β· Trailer Tow & Safari Bar Scheduling

o These commodities are in short supply for July production

o Encourage customers that want to get their Bronco’s earlier to remove these options from their orders

Β· Wildtrak & First Edition Scheduling

o These series will have limited July production due to hard top availability

That's what I'm talking about! Thanks Shahram! Great information! This is another example of your straight forward honesty and professionalism, and I appreciate you! I bleed Ford blue, and I'm not going anywhere. I'm just concerned with some of the comments and view points I hear on the Forums. Some people have vehicle leases that are expiring and need to get into another vehicle and are very upset. I would like to get my new Bronco by late summer, but if that doesn't happen? I can wait. I won't be changing my order to get it sooner. I want it the way I ordered it. I look forward to the day I come see you to pick it up. Thanks again πŸ‘ Have a great weekend!

Hi Bronco6g, Thanks to some valuable info from Michael W. this thread has been reopened. I really appreciate it Michael, thank you!

A little update: We have yet to receive our first Bronco, but know that there are some in Transit. Our Demo should be one of those. As soon as we know when the Demo will be here, we will reach out with an email to set up test drives.

If you have reached out to me via email but have not heard back, I did not receive your email because of technical difficulties with our email system. I apologize for that if it happened. Please feel free to reach out to me on here, or at the Dealership at (925)932-2900.

Hey!! Welcome back in, Shahram! I also emailed you concerning other vehicle purchases. No worries, you must have the same IT people that are handling Ford's rollout.
