Yep. Completely trashed all my excitement from getting built this week. Knowing it just gets pushed to the back of that lot is the worst.

If it’s not a safety issue and just cosmetic MIC, these need to get shipped and dealt with through a program at a later date. They ship vehicles with recalls almost daily. Holding a retail order for a cosmetic issue indefinitely is nuts.

Unfortunately that may not be true for all. Myself and 4 others who are part of the 7/19 build week thread have soft tops - built but not released. And looking at these photos and other threads discussing expected plans for dealing with the backlog (with input from PremierDrum) does not instill confidence in my build. Those soft tops were held for some reason…. Ugh!!

I was 7/23, it’s released but ETA week got pushed from this week to next. I think there are logistic issues.

Give those of us with VINs the option to change to a soft top. For a discount, i would sign an agreement that i agree ford does not owe me a hard top. (as long as I have the soft top.) I picked up my Vin in May, figured I was high enough in line to get my Bronco by now. Nope, I somehow got a VIN with a Hardtop selected.

Ford: It is not us customers fault that there are not enough hardtops. Put them on FE only and ship us all soft tops already. Even the 2 door group would like soft tops.
