Would like to join.
Received VIN and 6/20/22 build date. I'll believe when it actually happens.
My Bronco is a Base model. 2.3 with AT, aux switches in cactus gray. No lift.
33" Mickey Thompson's with America Racing AR62 matte black outlaw rims.
( I took this pick of a similar build from Ryder Graphics and added rims)
I have light bar, nudge bar, lights for nudge bar, and stubby antenna waiting as well.
Goal is a simple, clean build and then see what comes along after market down the road.

In my opinion the 2 doors look great without SAS, the one we were looking at was a base with some aftermarket rims and I think 32/33s and it looked really good. I couldn't not get SAS on my 4 door though.

I'm very partial to 2 door, but understand having a family and a 4 door. SAS was a production constraint. Holding out for a 2 door was enough pain. I didn't desire to add to a problematic build. Hopefully, Ford is on track with their production forecast. I am beyond skeptical at this point. Again, hopeful. 33" tire looks big enough, appropriate scale and design-wise, and (not) over the top imo. Just right!

That pin stripe is awesome... and the bronco side badge... mine didnt come with the bronco side badge. but it is cool though

We used a couple of different gps systems on our pre-run of Camp Grayling. I think we will use gaia as the club standard. The free version is good and should let you both record and download tracks with other club members.

In the Bronco, you can display the output on Car Play (not sure on Android Auto) and the interface is fairly easy.

Would you be willing to share the link to the trail/track in gaia? Won't be able to make the dates on this one work, but might go try the trails later in the summer. Thanks!

Sure thing, just do with your email or mobile #to text it. It’s a little confusing because we went to Hartwick Pines and did some loops. It’s actually really easy to follow the Fredric North route and explore the trails off it. The map will help a bit with that.

@Mattwings, can you email me the Gaia trail route link? :)

I am not familiar with Gaia? (who owns that if someone knows ?) But I used used google earth with some kind add on in Utah, Southern Utah adventures uses it in our razor rentals in our first off-road experience n=in unfamiliar desert terrain, (they have a red sand area mapped similar to silver lake area but smaller), in a higher speed environment it was cool however had some glitches (maybe due to the roofs on the razor blocking some gps in the phones) but for the most part was accurate in time to have a passenger give appropriate guidance that was a okay for a complete overly enthusiastic newb. I am impressed it allowed us to get around with a great deal of confidence in a completely new environment...Grayling sounds super fun!!! I would love to help with an outing there!

Joe at Village Ford in Dearborn has been phenomenal to work with. I’ve ordered a Focus RS, a Bronco and have a Mach E reservation going through right now.

Pat Milliken Ford in Redford. Victor, my salesman, along with the rest of the group were great. Even though there are a number of closer dealers, I am glad I stuck with PMF.

So first let me thank everyone who was involved in bringing the truly awesome beast to market! So glad that my sales guy who retired at Serra Ford Transferred me to my salesperson to Amanda!!! I waited patiently for a long time for preorder B007 to arrive...thanks to whomever shared the info about ecu population on motorcraft and the window sticker popping!...life savers to someone waiting! So if you want to order a base bronco go to Amanda at Serra, Order the base the only option I would order currently is switches instead of a sunglass holder(Ford if you are listening Make it standard on the base!!!) There are so many details that are for the enthusiast I could rant for hours catch me online "locotarget". I have owned and sold so many vehicles in my opportunity to occupy space on the earth,....and the only one... I truly will never part with is "B007" aka Loco and stay tuned because the more I drive this the more I love to rant about how great it is, and by the way you should order one! also by the time you get it you will have a good understanding of why it is so great and only a few of you will be willing to part with it ...... Simply put I would part with my dog before I will let my bronco go (nghnfw).

Here is a short video from the camp Grayling pre-run yesterday. My takeaways Stromboli the ride for those of you headed to the groups ride next Saturday.

1. It’s doable by any level Bronco in the current conditions.
2. It’s sand. We all did it at street pressure. I think I will go with 30psi next week to make the ride that much smoother.
3. There is just an insane amount of area to explore. I have a route for us, but anyone that wants to do more could come early or stay longer and ride for a couple of days without hitting everything.
4. There is some cool scenery.
5. It’s very pet, family friendly (don’t forget bug spray).

My neighbor is my sales guy and he texted me a single image this morning which made my day!!! My Bronco was finally built and arrived at the dealer this weekend, and I'm going to pick up the beast this afternoon.. What an experience, I can finally stop stalking trackers, and spreadsheets and maybe focus on work. OR just focus on looking at the bad boy sitting in my driveway :)

@ScoutandBronco Thanks! Slowly getting bits and pieces to make it my own. Sitting on a mountain of FordPass points and have been trying to spend those has been a little difficult. Found a dealer in Detroit area that will order my Ford Performance parts with my points...

Here are some of my inflight mods
Rokblokz Mudflaps
Rigid Light Bar
Rigid Pod Lights
IAG steps
Oracle backlit Grill lettering
Misc. vinyl from Stickerfab (door sill protect, lower door PPF, Aux switch labels)

But first need to sell one of my kidneys (or kids) to afford everything

I am going to do a pre-run of Camp Grayling with @cmarsha8 July 1st staring at 1PM. We will meet at the Hanson Hills recreation area to map and explore as much of the area as we have time for. We could probably use a couple of additional members to help map and plan routes for the bigger group heading there July 9. DM me for details if you are interested.

Picked up the Bronco yesterday. Brian Lynch at Mike Lynch Ford was great. Not only did he honor the price we set for the original reservation, but he helped get everything prepped before I got there so it took a whole 5 minutes to get the purchase complete.

Absolutely love it so far, I purposely never sat in one before this so that mine was the first experience with it. Due to trees falling over a road to my brothers I even had to take it on some muddy back roads for a soft break-in.

OK, we have the poll results. It looks like Saturday, July 9th is the day. The top location was- wherever :), but #2 was Camp Grayling, so that will be the spot. Anyone who has explored the area, let me know, we need trail leaders (may pre-run July 1 with @cmarsha8 and another person or two if interested)!

More details to follow, but here is a link to the trail map (pretty wild looking!)

Hi - did Denton Creek route across the St. Helens connector and into the St. Helens route on Saturday morning (as far as Maple Valley Road). Had a great time - weather was great and traffic was light! I can see now the subtle differences in the two and why the St. Helens was graded a little tougher. Would recommend it for other noobs like me. Looking forward to joining the group for a ride soon.

Hi all - I am a complete noob when it comes to off-roading, but I did have fun with my new (base) Bronco a couple of weekends ago on the Denton Creek trail. I was thinking about another trip up this weekend and going across the St Helens connector and into the St. Helen's trails. I noticed on the MBC site St. Helen's was listed as 'challenging' while Denton Creek is 'moderate'. Can anyone give me some advice on how challenging/areas to watch out for, etc...? I plan to stick to the wide tracks, but I don't have experience with water besides big mud puddles. Thoughts? If you all say 'don't do it' I'll just go back and play in the sandy/friendly trails of Denton Creek - or if anyone else has an alternate location suggestion I'd be happy to listen!

Let us know how it goes. Those routes all kind of connect so you can start on the Denton East and go all the way around Houghton Lake and Back towards Kalkaska. You can also start on the East side and link up at St Helens too.

Newbie as well from Ohio here but have ridden with the MBC team and a few spots in OH so far. I would just caution you on water. There were a few crossings in our park down here in OH that were pretty deceptive in depth with a lot of folks getting stuck and in some rough situations. If it looks questionable it probably is, or ask someone with experience. Water can be fun but it can do some damage too. Enjoy! MBC crew was great to us when we came up to Holly Oaks and if you're down in OH, Southington Off Road park is another friendly group.

@balynn1971 yeah - that's why I asked specifically about water - it freaks me out a little at this point (which is probably a good thing).
Mattwings
Mattwings
Bring a stick to test the depth (with all the sand, you shouldn’t find much water now). The Denton trails are lower and more water prone than the St. Helen’s trails.
Anyone in here buy through a Northern Michigan dealer? And how long did it take to ship the vehicle after production? I'm in the TC area, but am buying from Mike Lynch Ford in Rogers City.

I have an order in with Mike Lynch Ford. Brian and his team have been very helpful with me throughout the ordering process, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my interactions with them. I don't have a build date as of yet, but seeing as my order was placed last October it will probably be a while until that happens.

@Zombie Salamander Same, he has been incredible to work with. My father in law has worked with him for years and recommended him so I moved my reservation over after having bad luck with Fox Motors in TC. He's honoring our original pricing agreement and has been helpful with any requests I send his way. Can't recommend him enough and as long as everything goes smoothly over the next week or so (hopefully) then I'll be looking at purchasing my wife's next vehicle from him in the near future.

Ok, looks like the overwhelming preference for Drummond Island is September. I will go through the responses and work with the people interested in leading the rid to determine the best weekend. We will post details across formats as we get them finalized.

Ride “side note” - For those not on the Facebook group, there are alternating Saturday/Sunday weekend rides at Holly Oaks all summer. I will ask that @yeet post the dates on the MI Bronco Club events page and link it here too.

Maybe we don't have any UP members? I have snowmobiled, but not done any ORV trails. Looks like there are three routes open to full size vehicles (72" width). You can view locations and trail maps here-https://midnr.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=1710727ba3ec4c64928110fdb4f7799d

Looks like everyone is having the best time off-roading! When you get back onto real roads, how fast are you driving with the soft top partially back? I can't really find anything that says to avoid the freeway with the top only half down, and I've seen some people on the main forum who have tried it, but I figured I would ask those of you who have already driven around with your tops partially down. What's your max comfortable speed?

Several members have talked about Drummond Island trail ride. I thought we could do a poll and see the level of interest and which dates would be the best (knowing no date is good for everyone). Once we have that narrowed down, we can do another poll to set the date(s) with the possibility of multiple groups attending different rides.

I know posts get buried in the clubs section here on B6G sometimes, so here is a quick reminder/update for silver lake-
* DM me for my phone number and I will be on GMRS\FRS channel 7 once I get into Mears. I will have two basic FRS radios to loan out as well.

For anyone headed to Silver Lake tomorrow, I am heading to breakfast at The Golden Eatery about 8:45. Feel free to join.

Details-

https://goo.gl/maps/r2Mb3o3ZPkpUVcp19

We will then head over to the dunes parking lot to see if anyone needs help with flags, airing down, whatever. “Drivers Meeting” is at 10:30. It might be a mixed bag weather wise, but it should make for a bit easier time in the dunes. I can’t wait to see some Broncos in the wild again!
