Hey all,

Curious if any of you have ever been to the Memorial Day weekend off road event in Dresser, Wisconsin.

I’m considering going but don’t know much about the event. Would love to hear from any of you if you’ve gone.

Yeah First time I went as I was getting close I ran into a group at the gas station towing all sorts of crazy rigs and looked at my wife and said we might be in over our heads. Pulled into the parking lot and there were a ton of stock Jeeps. Felt better then. Was quickly adopted by one of the Jeep groups since we didn't know anyone there and spent the day with them. Did take a little teasing about by Bronco not being a Jeep, but it quickly showed them that it could do everything that their modded rigs could do. We did a lot of obstacles that the group wouldn't take on. I should mention that I did air down at Dresser to about 23 pounds. Plenty of people with compressors to help you air back up and if not there are gas stations close buy that you can drive to at a slower pace. I don't have a compressor yet. Next on my list of things to buy.

Our cabin is way over in Minoqua, WI so we won't be wheeling over Memorial Day. If you want to go before that though hit me up since I'm in Apple Valley, MN (noticed you're in Minneapolis) and we're probably headed to the MN4WDA Spring Convention next weekend 5/3-5 for at least a day to see what it's all about. Also there is also Rigs and Coffee coming up at REI on 5/11 which is fun just to see other people's overlanding rigs.

Hi, guys. I'm new here - this is my 1st post, actually. Figured I'd connect and follow - I'm in Minneapolis also, and my in-laws have a cabin in Eagle River, WI. My Bronco is on order, and I'll be looking for some places within drive distance of both for beginner off-roading. Looking forward to being in the club!

@irishkpo I joined the MN4WDA last year and have been wanting to go to an event. To your point I think I just need go and know there are great people there to help get you accustomed. That Spring Convention looks ideal but I'm out of town that weekend! I think I might just have to give the Memorial Weekend event a shot since I'll be up near there anyway.
I didn't realize REI had meet ups for overland rigs...that's another thing I'm interested in getting more involved with too. It'd be great to test a few of these events out and then find a group/club that is most aligned with my interests/experience.

I've since upgraded to a Badlands Bronco so I'm pumped to give it another go.

I joined MN4WDA also. I travel for work during the week so I'm never home for meetings but I wanted to got to events and have access to the info on their website.

I also follow Zeus on Facebook. That's actually where I found out about the REI Rigs and Coffee events. Looks like it happens every month. We went last month. There were only about a dozen rigs there with their tents popped. A lot of others coming and going including us. It was fun to just poke around and get ideas. I'd love to build an overlanding rig but my wife thinks roughing it is the hotel that didn't have a hair dryer..... LOL

I've looked at the irornangeoffroad classes, after going to two Ford OffRoadeos now and my time spent with my previous built FJ Cruiser for 17 years I just haven't pulled the trigger on one of them.

Proud Bronco owner here. I live in Kenosha County and am happy to be a part of this group. I have a '22 4dr Badlands in Area 51 color. I am so excited, because we are going to the Bronco Off Roadeo in New Hampshire next month. We are meeting my son, who lives in Boston, and spending the day together learning everything my car can do.

Greetings all! New Bronco owner, long time Ford fan here in the middle of the state. Still learning about all the fun stuff I can do to this beast for upgrades and customization and such. I know there's a Blue 2 Door rolling around Marshfield. If you're in the group, I'm the Blue 4 Door!

In case members here don't know, there is Bronco event coming up in Wisconsin this July - visiting a friend now who guides

Just signed up. Will probably be there at least Friday and Saturday.

I went to the danger day Friday off road ride. $50 was well worth it … the local volunteer guides were awesome .. I went out with the “green” group because they had a few more spotters to help out w difficult conditions, and I wanted to absorb as much knowledge as possible. Good group of people that helped me not hit trees , etc.. trails were tight and a lot of places to slide. I’m thankful for the help. Super good time and then the waterpark back at the Chula Vista venue to end the night. Missing out on the raffles today as I headed home late last night. Good luck to everybody there.

new to this group… been on 6g for a while tho … finally got my bronco in may… put in some miles road tripping to Colorado / Moab for some Ez stuff and visit family. Maybe met a few of you this weekend at bronco super celebration WI in the Dells…. Based out of racine. Looking forward to seeing some nice bucking Bronco in Wi

Any owners in the Green Bay Area?

Still a small group, but between Antigo, Rhinelander and Eagle River I am seeing more and more Broncos. And a number of Wranglers, Raptors and some FJs.

I'm out and about in Green Bay Daily !

Anyone in the Green Bay area have any recommendations for trails to visit? New to off roading and wasn't sure if there's anything in our area for full size vehicles to go on

not certain about Green Bay. but you can look at the rustic road Wisconsin map and see if there is any good dirt or gravel trails near you. From my experience, the best of those are around the Baraboo/Devils Lake area. I know there's one around St. Nazianz area and then there's the trans wisconsin adventure trails and the WI offroad park in Embarras

That's the fun part of having a Bronco... the exploring and finding trails in your area. I would guess, if you head north out of Green Bay, it won't take you long to find logging roads and ohv trails. Grab a DeLorme atlas or try OnX Offroad for suggestions. I'm 90 miles northwest of Green Bay and there are logging roads and trails all over Langlade County and northward.

I went up to lakewood and had a great time running the trails in the state/national forests up there.

Thinking about heading to Tigerton OHV park on sunday (nov 6th) to try out my new rig. would love to meet up with a couple peeps if anyone is interested. I have never been there before so should be a enjoyable adventure. I am based in janesville wi will be heading out around 6:30 am should arrive at the park around 9-9:30

I a different time and I would be interested. My focus is on hunting season currently all OHV will be U.P. logging roads throughout the end of the year.

Just installed the @IAG Performance EZ soft top assist. Works tremendously well and very easy install. Definitely recommend.

Are they shipping these with the pillar protection now?

They do not, however, if installed correctly, I found it doesn't rub at all to begin with. I put some self adhesive felt at the bottom of the roll bar where some people had reported paint chipping, but I haven't had any issues so far.

Anyone doing anything for lifts, wheels, and tires? I personally like my OBX wheels but am thinking of doing a small 1.25in level lift with some 275/70R18 KO2 or grabbers.

On my Black Diamond I replaced the standard General Grabbers with a set of Falken Wildpeak MTs in 285/70R17. The suspension is still stock with the idea of an upgrade sometime in the future.

@Jonah Got any before/after pics? I'm in love with the steelies on my BD so those are staying BUT I will upgrade the tires at some point. Also, did you do the Forscan update on tire size? Thanks!
