Hello all!

My name is Emerson, starting to make modifications to my Bronco and using this thread to keep track. Might stumble on some tips, tricks, ideas long the way so I thought I'd share them.

Starting out here, I picked up my EG 4dr Badlands after a 444 day wait. 2.3L 7sp w/ high package, non-sas. This is a replacement vehicle for my tired 275k mile Jeep Cherokee

Plethora of parts have been ordered, guess that is one thing nice about waiting for almost 15 months for the vehicle to show up lol

RRW Black Lug Nuts
Falken Wildpeak AT3W 315/70R17
Daystar Spare Tire Bumpstops
JCR Roof Rack
JCR Roof Rack Reinforcement
JCR Cargo Floor System
JCR 10" Drawer
JCR Fridge Slide
JCR Rear Shock Skids
JCR Air Compressor Mount
Mabett Rear Seat Cover
Mabett Arm Rest Cover
Mabett Center Console Tray
Ford Sasquatch Fender Flares
ARB Twin Air Compressor
ARB Inflation Kit
Dometic CFX55IM
Ecoflow Delta 2

The overarching purpose of this build is a do-it-all mild build. I'm always doing something outdoors from fly fishing, rock climbing, backcounty snowboarding, hiking and trail running, to camping. So most if not all my modifications will be in support of those activities. The XJ was built out perfectly for this, so the bronco has some big shoes to fill in my mind.

First up we have the JCR modular cargo setup. I'm a big fan of JCR and their products. Got to know some of the guys there pretty well over the course of building out the Cherokee and really like a lot of the stuff they are putting out for the bronco. Drawer/fridge slide setup was something I always wanted in the Cherokee but never wanted to put in the effort lol
So one of the first modifications, aside from Mabett interior piece that pretty much everyone has, was this cargo system. Install was a breeze and I can have the drawer/fridge slide out or in 10 mins or so. This was ideal for me just because of how much I like to change things around depending on what I'm doing.

Currently this has been my daily setup. 10" drawer to carry miscellaneous things, right now just camp chairs, kinetic rope, and a tire deflator. I like having this drawer in so I can store loose items in there that I might want out of sight. While its not lockable, if the tailgate can't be opened the drawer can't either.

I grabbed some foam diamond mat from Home Depot and cut it to size to give a soft floor for the dogs and so that there wouldn't be as much clanking around of anything back there

Whats your plan for the ARB compressor? Im debating if the underhood mounting is worth the trouble or if i should just get the portable one that clamps to battery when you need it?

Have the jcr engine bay bracket showing up soon. Looks to be a super simple install. I did the wiring for it yesterday. Battery leads all crimped and soldered, trigger wire hooked to aux 6 via a deutsch connector. I'll post pictures of the entire install when the bracket comes in 🤙🏽

Compressor installed.

Bracket took about 30mins to bolt in. Really simple, very happy with it.

Chopped mostly everything from the switch harness to clean it up a bit and make it easier to tuck away. 2 pin Deutsch connector attached to the purple trigger wire from the ARB harness and connected to Aux switch 6.

Main harness power and ground has eyelets soldered on and piggie backed off existing bolts from the positive and negative

Quick JCR shock skid install. That main bolt torque was a bear 🥵 had to borrow a tq wrench from work lol

Then was able to get the bronco up to Glacier NP for its first road trip. Did great except for the android auto just cutting out completely for about an hour and I managed a rock chip that immediately turned into a crack 😂

But averaged 19.2mpg over the entire course of the trip (~1400mi). Loaded up pretty heavy with gear running 70-75mph on the hwy

Was on the fence with rockblok xls. Yours came out great. You went black with green logo? I'll do the same but with blue logo. Are you running a lift?

I went with black and black logos cause i'm not a fan of the RB logo lol

No lift right now, planning on a minor 2in lift in the future though

Which of their lugs did you purchase? I cant determine the difference of the two they offer. Also, how do you like these still? Any issues airing down?
