Kicker 46CSC44 Rear Pod Speakers:

PXL_20240220_205203619.jpg

Unfortunately, nowhere near the results I was expecting. After installing the new amp, the sound quality when fading to the rear was still pretty poor. This didn't make much improvement. I did (maybe) hear some benefit by fading to the rear combined with a large cut in the bass level and lots more volume. Unfortunately, I didn't do the exact same test prior to the swap.

Any tips: Bass blocker circuit, redo the Kicker amp EQ process, something else?

JCR Full Roof Rack and Reinforcement:

Their rack is great and AFAIK no one else offers their innovative reinforcement system that provides a significantly increased static and dynamic load rating by routing the rack loads into the roll bar bypassing the relatively flimsy roof itself.

Braided Stainless Brake Lines - Crown Performance - Transparent Orange

Add durability and improve pedal feel (maybe not discernible...)

This is nearly a "drop in" but requires opening and re-closing the front metal guide plates and careful clocking of the banjo on the rear calipers as the rear caliper fitting is not the same as factory. A pretty easy job for anyone with basic wrenching skills. My mechanic also tested the rears under droop and tuck just to be certain.

No one has a drop in or otherwise kit yet for the Raptor, thus almost "drop in". Crown can sell this kit but won't advertise it since it's not 100% drop in. DM me if you want the info to pick up a set.

Here are the construction details and colors:

Painted RSE logos semi-gloss black. These logos are super nice, laser or water jet cut stainless steel, riveted on. That said they were just too bright/distracting so they got multiple coats of Duplicolor etching primer and Eastwood Aerospray 2k paint. They will match the slider body better with less gloss after fully curing.

Advanced Wheel Locks:

Black, set of 5. These best pretty well all of the techniques to (often easily) defeat other designs. Check out the comprehensive comparison test here:

Spare tire dressing plugs. Actually found a UV/weather/chemical resistant size that fits the KMCs. Most standard rubber stoppers are very poor with UV.

I have 2 additional sets of 3 plugs for FREE. DM me.

ASS Disable:

Installed this inexpensive ASS disable box from Amazon. $45 and NO panel removal required (installs in driver side foot well). Sure, it just about broke my back and neck installing it and my son had to plug in the last connector. Works fine and no window control problems some reported on Amazon.

Does the Raptor not allow coding of ASS? I just did one for a friend today and it worked fine.

Something I didn't know until recently is that the auto start stop can be set with your R button in the raptors, if you use it.

I don't think this is exactly correct. I think, in my case, it may just be that some modes (like Sport, maybe others) disable ASS. I've had my memorized R mode using Sport and did note ASS being disabled. Easy to test/verify...

A few days ago while already in my R mode I turned the ASS off with the button. I then stored my R mode again.

Now every time I start my bronco I double tap the R button and the notifications for "offroad use only" as well as "auto start/stop has been disabled" pop up.

Like you said sport mode does disable the ASS automatically aswell.

But does that work for a memorized (or all) GOAT mode of Normal? If not then it isn't the case that the R mode stores the ASS mode.

Yeah, just to check I just went an stored my R mode with everything set to normal, turned ASS off, stored again, and when double tapping the R button the ASS disabled notification pops up as if I just hit the button on the dash.

Does the plug in eliminator still cause the notification to pop up when you start the vehicle?

I might still get one eventually just to do away with the notification, if it does.
