Got quite a lot done yesterday. Starting with bone stock.

Longer term plan is to outfit for camping with rooftop tent from current rig, real sliders, wheels, PPF and a full rear storage solution to keep stuff secure while high and low speed wheeling. Lots of little convenience/cosmetic stuff for now.

IAG Lower control arm screw caps (note the kit includes 2 small and 1 large nut per side for the base Bronco but the Raptor only uses 1 large nut per side). Before and after:

Love it. Can you educate me as to what the IAG screw does please.

These prevent damage to the bolt threads and nuts when rock crawling. Obviously, if they get damaged, removal of the nuts would be slightly to significantly more difficult.

On a loosely related note I'm giving away 4 of the 6 in the Exterior For Sale thread since the Raptor only uses 2 of the 6 from the regular Bronco kit.

Kudos for the 3rd brake light removal, first mod I did putting an Oracle Jeep version on. Also I don't have the caps haven't had an issue with that.

Hey swamp how you like the fit and quality of the sill guards?

Love 'em @Breptar , I specifically wanted a thick and textured sill guard and I think these are the only ones on the market. I don't care for the skateboard grip tape style ones. These tucked up under the sill plastic and fully wrapped around the 90 degree metal fillet on the lower sill.

Added Mabett interior light kit. These should have been factory...

Tips:

1. Prying out rear light takes some oomph. Clips are on left and right. If a metal clip flies off inside the roll bar you can get it out with a magnet.
2. Lights are L&R.
3. Route cables above alignment/install posts on plastic trim and above screws to keep them out of the way of airbags
4. There are some little corner spots on plastic trim ideal to give just a bit more room for wires to pass outside of trim right before fixtures. If you don't use these the wires seem to get pinched to hard between roll bar and trim when screws are tight.

Nice! Did you splice into a wire or pull power from the fuse box? I want to run the iag version of this kit, but refuse to use a t-tap. I’d rather find the dome light fuse in the fuse box.
