They are maintaining switches, depress and it stays depressed, press again and the button extends back to the original position.

I don't suppose there is any wiring left underneath to follow?

yah, got the upfitter switches, flipping them on and then hitting the buttons do nothing.

You have to go in with FORScan and find and activate the James Bond mode, when you select the GOAT modes it shows up just like the other modes, only then will they work.
Unlike most on /off settings in FORScan, you set it to 007. But it's highly unrecommended, unless of course you have the proper license.

Also must be certified by MI6.

It's for ejection seats. Only has to be upside-down already. If it's got a coyote engine, that's it!

Does this Bronco have powered steps? They look just like the defeat switches that came with the Rock slide engineering steps. One for driver side one for passenger side.

We may have a winner, these look like the same switches and are used to actuate the steps if the doors are removed.

Late to this.....was going to guess they'd shut off the illumination to license plates and running lights so you can disappear after a heist!

Steve McQueen optioned at least one of his cars [maybe a 911?] with that so he could disappear if chased.
