P.O. installed a couple of push button switches in the center console, don't see to do anything now, any guesses what they used to control (powered steps maybe?)?

If they are ejection seats they don't work, I hit them tons of times with or without the accessory power switches on/off.

When you depress one of the buttons the corresponding window hand crank on the door lights up, letting you know which crank to turn.

Lux pkg, seats and wheel from the factory. But, the heated seats are nut just butt warm, it goes all the way up my back to my shoulders, maybe they added some surface area.

Are they really buttons, or maybe caps can removed to reveal a plug/port of some kind?

You have to go in with FORScan and find and activate the James Bond mode, when you select the GOAT modes it shows up just like the other modes, only then will they work.
Unlike most on /off settings in FORScan, you set it to 007. But it's highly unrecommended, unless of course you have the proper license.

They are maintaining switches, depress and it stays depressed, press again and the button extends back to the original position.

Do the buttons click or light up at all? In terms of the install they don't look half bad, that's a location I'd consider putting some switches in the future if needed.

Maybe you can trace any wires that run from the switches to see where they lead, get an idea of what they might have controlled. Maybe the buttons operated some lights/accessory the PO sold off prior to selling the vehicle.

Do you have upfitter switches along roof? No? Maybe they were ditch light switches. See any markings anywhere on the vehicle where something was mounted? Look for wires. Maybe they had dual bass knobs if there was a previous aftermarket audio upgrade and switches just cover holes when they took out knobs.
