If it can be fitted to a custom tremec, then all for itI seriously want to do this with my 2 door.
Almost halfway through 24, whats taking so long?Time and money.
The ECU hasn't been cracked yet. The biggest hurdle will be getting the 2.3 computer to work with the 2.7. Or, the 2.7 computer to work with the manual transmission.
Takes to much time and money and still no one has really cracked the electronic side. And probably not enough interest in a swap like this for anyone to really tackle it.Almost halfway through 24, whats taking so long?
The bellhousing is part of the transmission case. So unless you're going to design a whole custom transmission case, the only other option would be an adapter plate. Either way it would probably be a ton of moneyHow much would a custom bell housing cost? What would it take to swap in a 2.7 into a 2.3 with a stick
Adaptor plate works as wellThe bellhousing is part of the transmission case. So unless you're going to design a whole custom transmission case, the only other option would be an adapter plate. Either way it would probably be a ton of money
Took 3 years to crack the C8 corvette ECU, and a lot more people cared about doing that.Adaptor plate works as well
Shame it's 4 years in and no meaningful swaps and cracked ECU's
Such a shame such a shame.Took 3 years to crack the C8 corvette ECU, and a lot more people cared about doing that.
Far less demand for Bronco, so it'll probably be a lot longer.
They've been focusing a lot more heavily on it lately because of OTA updates. Last thing they want/need is someone being able to easily hack into the vehicle.Such a shame such a shame.
Why do manufacturers lock up their ECU's on performance cars to begin with?
Even when I turn it off it keeps askingThey've been focusing a lot more heavily on it lately because of OTA updates. Last thing they want/need is someone being able to easily hack into the vehicle.
