Drug our Bronco to Missouri to visit family we haven’t seen in a year. Bought a set of steps from Tractor Supply so we could get my 89 yr old Mother in and out of it. She was a good sport and likes the Bronco.

Celebrating Memorial Day weekend early! Worked Saturday and will work Monday, but I still managed to enjoy some beach time. Started in the bay since the main beach was too full, but shortly after we made it to the Atlantic side. Enjoyed burgers and hot dogs… with the ocean at a crisp 75 degrees – perfect in the hot sun. The breeze was just right, with the temperature around 83 degrees today. This really is the best time of year to be out (when Florida is still preheating)!

Good race today! It’s still on my bucket list. Weirdly, I’ve been to Indy for the Brickyard 400, Formula 1, and MotoGP, but somehow I’ve never made it to the actual Indy 500, and I’ve been following it since Johnny Rutherford was winning…

The last few laps were incredible! Completely lost my voice screaming for Pato, but my dad was pulling for Josef and this trip was all for him so I couldn't ask for anything better! Even my mom (total space cadet, obviously) had an absolute blast. I'll admit to getting pretty misty seeing my dad scratch it off the bucket list
