I just don't feel like messing with removing it. The only time I took it off the Bronco, was to spray the liner on it :)

My wife said she was going to take the top off hers and leave it off, but it's been almost a year and that hasn't happened yet, LOL! I used to hate hardtops, but I guess since I'm older now, I just don't want the soft/no tops version anymore, haha!

I am about to buy this though, but its' soft top is removable!

I understand that. The old ones were a BIT heavy but looking at the fact that the top is now split into 3 parts, it should be easier. It's the storage part that I have to try and figure out. LOL

To be honest, I had an easier time removing my TJ hardtop off by myself versus removing the rear part of the hardtop off my Bronco... I think the Bronco top is molded plastic or some sort and all the Jeep tops I ever had were fiberglass. The JK top was heavy too and it was just like the Bronco, a 3 piece top.

I didn't know there was an option to even buy color matched hardtops, until I came here seeing them....? If I had bought my Bronco new and that was an option, I would've done it in a heartbeat! I completely dislike the standard grey/black ones they come with!
Originally, the body color mod top was an option for the OBX when B&P launched in Oct. 2020. Issues with production of the mod top resulted in it getting delayed until the Heritage Editions.

I'm too far down the rabbit hole to consider trading in for a new Bronco with the BC HT. And I don't want to sink any money into the existing MIC top as it is showing signs for a warranty replacement, but I'm hesitant as one can always get a worse replacement.

I just ordered a 2 door, Badlands, manual in ruby red with colored-matched, roof on Friday. Based on the manual transmission thread with build weeks, I think I should have it by the end of August.

Only the MY' 23 Heritage Editions have the actual modular HT with removable windows. It is common to reference the current painted HT as a modular HT, but there isn't anything modular about it.

Job1 HEs might have received the modular HT with removable rear windows, but I'm not sure. @Lowcountry Bronco can correct me.

@Beach_Bum , all the '23s and a few of the early '24s have the removable rear windows, I think job 2 for the '24s was the overlap but I could be wrong.

@BigHoof , the 2 doors with the new painted hardtops still get the gunners hatch though but no removable windows anymore on either.
