Yeah after seeing that, I’m pretty sure this might be a forscan related issue, not something you’re doing wrong. Because it seems to be going into ET mode fine.
That specific DTC is basically just saying the calibration hasn’t been completed yet. Most likely because it tried to and then failed. That’s the only other thing I can think of is that it’s not working because of that DTC code. Again that code did not exist until I tried to recalibrate the ride height originally. I do truly appreciate everyone’s help and comments with this!! lol the only thing I have not tried is unplugging the battery for 30 minutes or so. But I will continue to update on here as I start to learn things.
Fun fact, the procedure that you sent me and what I also saw online of putting it neutral and pressing the gas pedal three times did not put it in et mode. I had to turn the ignition on engine off shifted into neutral. Turn the ignition off hold down the OK button on the steering wheel for eight seconds then turn the ignition on once the ignition is on with engine off ET mode came on.
That's correct. Forscan is just making a "best guess" based on what they can reverse engineer, and it isn't always accurate, and may very well vary somewhat from model to model. Brake Maintenance Mode was a good example that doesn't quite follow like Forscan thinks it should. For example, and correct me if I’m wrong here @Brian_B, but didn’t you have some type of issue with the parking brake maintenance mode procedure in forscan?
There’s a good chance this simply may not work correctly without FDRS.
Unfortunately at this point, I think it’s your only option.OK for everyone’s education though because of this code, I am unable to utilize any of my drive modes, i.e. sport, Baja, etc. so bottom line is everyone in a grants that this is only something a dealer can do.
Yeah that’s not a bad idea. Camera normally should be recalibrated after a lift, although some have no issues without doing it at all. That’s what I thought too, but they said it was two hours of labor because they had to recalibrate the cameras as well
