In my opinion, the jb4 is the best all things considered. Depending on the tune you select on the jb4 you don’t need high octane

My Pedal Commander works Flawlessly. I have done MANY tunes on my 5 previous BMWs......and I gotta say, for a product that does NOT give you any additional HP, the bang-for-buck here is amazing. Truly amazing. I run my Bronco on ECO on the GOAT dial and "city" mode on the Pedal Commander (+2). I recently added RCI steel skids, front to back, and also some heavy side steps that definitely added about 400 lbs total or more. So I moved my setting to (+3) and viola! Back to "normal" again!!

I'm researching alternatives because the PC does not in fact, work flawlessly. I once adjusted the PC while driving, and it threw MIL. It causes MIL, on rare occasions, where I have to turn pull over, turn off the car and turn it back on again. I removed it and haven't had any issues since.

Mine has worked flawlessly all through my ownership of it - almost 2 years. I also drive very hard - both on and off road. Maybe yours was a one off, maybe Ford did a new update - not sure what to tell you. But most people here have had no issues with it either.
