I know I'll hear about it but these things are nothing but snake oil. Just like sport mode it only changes perception. I've owned 5 ecoboost vehicles since the came out and not one had turbo lag. I think many confuse the computer torque limiter installed by the factory to protect the drive line and traction control for turbo lag.

A shot of nitrous will eliminate that turbo lag! 😉

It has no effect on turbo lag whatsoever.
“Feels quicker” in throttle response which effects when the turbo starts spooling. Wasn’t suggesting it eliminated any turbo lag. Want to reduce lag, get a smaller turbo

I have one, no it does not give you more power up high.
But does makes the car respond faster during low - mid rpm range.

I like how it maps the throttle in Normal mode.
No need to dial back and forth or changing between 2H or 4A.
Shift point is not modified so it is pretty much set it and forget it.
Sports mode is even more agile as shift point is changed.

When the device is on Sport+ mode it makes the car wayyy too jumpy. Virtually no turbo lag.
I had to dial way down. You will definitely feel the difference
