Reguarding the mounting ring…
Just received mine so I don’t have any knowledge of tint or mount ring yet.

Although if known to be a weak adhesive, couldn’t you apply a thin Bead of JB Weld epoxy to either the outside of ring or internal side. To provide the additional strength the narrow ring as precautionary reinforcement.

Looking at them in hand… very nicely looking! Tint does look more than expected, we’ll see how that does with my ceramic tinted glass.
Thank you for the feedback — we're glad to hear you're enjoying the quality of your Suma mirrors. Based on feedback from our customers, we’ve updated the design to include a thicker mounting ring and stronger adhesive for improved durability and fitment.

It's Great if your shop is doing a thicker mounting ring & adhesive.
I was suggesting an Owner could also reinforce the ring easily.... But Your shop modifying is even better.

When will new design be available, and can I exchange my newly received (in box) set since I'm waiting for the BLIS wire connector for late 2025 models.

FYI I have a 2025 with a build date 5/25. I pulled my mirror to check and it has the old BLIS connector.

Just an FYI for late 2025 builds.
Already communicated to Suma and they're working on it.
The BLIS connector has changed, and also the Heater Connection has changed. The older connector is to wide for the new 2025 connector.

I would love you guys to build a mirror that pops off quickly for off-roading. Our stock mirrors stick out bad in tight spots???

Hi, tell us more?
Where the mirror pivots ( or perhaps even closer to the body?…) a single large bolt, an extra long wiring harness that unclips, done! If the bolt head matched up to our tool kit we already have for our hard top?

Even folded in they are such a sight line block, they’re huge! I would love to be able to pop them off, the drivers side especially

Just a thought, not sure if they’d be a bestseller, but I’d definitely buy a pair!

Hi, tell us more?
Also, Ford wanted 900$ Canadian for a replacement mirror ( I cheaped out on Amazon), I’d rather pop them off and not worry about it?…
