Bison Gear OX PRO Roof Rack Review

Hello, I've wanted to make a review for this rack since the day I got it.

For all European broncos out there this is one of the viable options.
I've got the option with led bar option but still haven't put one.
The materials are solid, guide is a little bit strange, but you can work it through. Roof can't be removed with the rack on.

No issues so far apart from my stupidity stripping one of the bolts. Managed to put in a test when building my house carrying plasterboards and cd/ud profiles so I can for sure say it is good.

Thanks for the input. I’ve reached out to Bison to see if their rack fits the painted roof. Hopefully it does.

Hi, I have a question about real‑world experience with wind noise when using a light bar.
I’m considering this roof rack from Bison Gear OX Pro, or another option is the Front Runner (https://www.dometic.com/en-de/product/ford-bronco-4d-w-hard-top-roofrack-slimline-ii-krfb004t). I’m not sure which rack is the better choice; in Europe there aren’t many options. There’s also a rack from ARB or Rhino Rack on the market. All the others are significantly more expensive, and the question is whether the higher price is justified. I like the Polish OX Pro, especially because of the side window MOLLE panels. Thanks for a short comment or any experience — pros and cons are welcome. Best regards.

the painted roof has shallower slots In the rear area. Trailmax amongst others have said their racks don’t fit. Doesn’t stop some folks though as you’ll see those back clamps flexing near the slots. Leitner said their racks will fit the painted roof. I have theirs arriving next week and will confirm that then.

Well I’ve used it some months without the light bar and keep in mind I didn’t have the cover for the hole. Can’t say wind noise with the bar is something unbearable and to be honest can’t spot it much with all the noises you hear inside the bronco.

After reading a few users feedback on over charge and customer service, I’m hesitant to pull the trigger on them. Wish they had a US distributor. That said, I like the design and would be interested in getting a few things from them.

Well yeah the customer service is hit or miss But as I said it was the only option in Europe so i had to pull the trigger
