Perfect opportunity for the doors and the roof to be left behind today. At about 65mph on the highway I see something flapping in the corner of my eye, it's my rear floor mat flapping in the breeze. Held it down for a few more miles and then took the out and put them under my cargo netting on the way home. The only thing I can think of is to fold down the rear seats in the future. Anyone else have a better suggestion?

I started out with a rock found on the side of the road. Then used a couple of tire spoons to hold them down. I installed Armorlite flooring, now I don't have floor mats.

These are the Ford floor liners, I'm not sure if they have different versions.

The Ford all-weather mats are 2 pieces in the rear. I have the 3W liners and that is a one piece design (at least for the 2 door). A one-piece design may tend to stay in place better.

haven't hard back about carpet vs floor, but I ask because when I got my bronco and ordered the floor liners, they had the nubs for carpet on them and the dealer didn't even know there were 2 different floor liners - one without nubs for the floor and one with nubs for carpet. I could see if the wrong one was being used that it could allow air to get underneath and lift it.

I have the carpet. It has the nubs in the front, but not the back.
Interesting, I can't remember if they offered the back with nubs, but if I recall, all of my liners - front, back, and cargo had nubs and I returned them and the dealer got me the ones without nubs. Just wondering if the rear without nubs on carpet is letting air get up under there, although it would seem that even if they had nubs it might not make a difference.
