Anyone else not impressed with the OEM Bronco wipers?

Mine are already streaking and just don’t seem to make great contact with the windshield covered with bird poop and bug splatter.

I searched the forum but didn’t see a clear go-to upgrade. Are people running Bosch, Rain-X, or anything better?

Would love to hear what’s actually working long-term and able to clean the splatter.

My OEM wipers are several years old and have no problem. I havent run into a issues with mud, dirt, dust, snow, or anything else not wiping away. Now, when the occasional bird drops his gift or them pesky bugs commit suicide by hitting my windshield and that stuff gets baked on, I find stopping at a service station and employing the squeege takes care of that just fine.

I figured out if you remove the hard top during the seven months of warm weather the wiper blades last a long time since the Bronco won’t be out in the rain topless. Stay engaged for more of my auto tips.

In my experience, you’ve got about 5 seconds to hit the washer fluid button when a big bug hits if you want any chance of clearing it instead of smearing it.

I don’t think any wipers will do better once the splat starts to air dry.

Im in the same bout. When it snows it leaves streakes everywhere and doesn’t even get rid of the snow. Worst blades ever. I honestly couldn’t believe it. And it happens every time

I decided it was time to replace mine since they were three years old. No issues really. Just felt like it was time. I ordered a 3 piece set from Amazon. Not expensive. Made to fit the Bronco. They were easy to install and work well.

Have been using Bosch Icon for a few years. Went to next level down wiper and seem to chatter.....probably put icons on next time.

Replaced my OEM set after 6 months of ownership. Got tired of them just smearing. However I assumed they were just a bad set and replaced them with new OE ones. Bad decision. They suck too.

I too am not a fan of the OEM wipers. They seem to be fine with rain, but like said above any bugs or whatever that dries on the window seems almost impossible to remove with just the wipers. Might give the Bosch a try given the responses here.
