I have a 2025 OBX with Sasquatch and Lux package. It has “adaptive cruise control”. I haven’t figured it out yet, but does the Bronco adaptive control slow to a stop in a traffic jam then resume once traffic begins to move. I tried to see if it has this feature, but it seems to cut out at low speeds.

probably cuts out around 8mph right?

it’s adaptive at speed, but not stop and go. Forscan enabled stop and go on mine though and is one of the better mods I’ve done.

At least for me (2023 w lux), it starts going again unless things come to a complete stop. The threshold is 0, rather than 8mph or something for me. But with that said, even a fraction of a second at a complete stop requires you to hit the gas again to start going.

I found this mod recently and added it to my '21 First Edition (new to me). I was surprised to see that the "from the factory" minimum speed is around 8 mph. With the FORScan mod, It is now doing full adaptive (minus lane-keep). It will go all the way down to stopping in traffic and as noted above, if it is very quick stop, the system picks back up. If traffic stops for a moment, then you have to either hit resume or simply touch the accelerator to get going again.

Note: This only appears to work on Bronco's with 2.7L engine.
Here is the video that walked me through the steps.

My 2025 OBX stops and goes without any additional forscan changes

Anybody else try this stop and go forscan change?

So cruise control stops you and then starts following the vehicle in front of you when it starts moving without you doing anything?

If traffic stops more than an a few seconds then I have to press the resume button. I think pressing the gas pedal might resume too. If traffic comes to a full stop for only a second or two then it will automatically continue.

the original CC did not do this. It just cut out under ~8mph and would not let me resume until over ~15mph.

Interesting all these little things we find out that don’t seem to be in any manual. Maybe Teslas developing full drive mode is pushing Ford to release more functionality

Why would you have Cruise Control active in stop-and-go traffic? Once you've stepped on the Brake it should disengage.

I assume that it would allow stop and go driving without using the brakes. I can't see myself doing that but people who commute daily in stop and go traffic might find it appealing.

It will come to a complete stop on it's own, and then start going again completely on it's own with no driver input?

Are the 2025/2026 Broncos still using an IPMA/IPMB combo or did they switch to IPMA only yet?

They're still using the same combo.
I'm pretty sure none of the full size broncos actually do stop and go ACC, which is why I'm confused about the previous post.
