If you got a brand new Bronco tomorrow, which mod goes on first?

Hey everyone — we’re EZ4X4. We make accessories for Jeeps and Broncos, and we’ve been debating this internally.

Say you wake up tomorrow with a completely stock Bronco in the driveway. What’s the very first mod you install before anything else?

What’s your non-negotiable upgrade?

Could be practical, cosmetic, off-road, comfort — anything. No wrong answers.

Curious to hear everyone’s picks.

1. Replacing the 30" minivan street tires with 33" A/T tires.
2. Mud flaps to prevent rock chipping my paint.
3. Running boards to prevent rock chipping my paint.
4. Maybe a top lift so I could regularly take the top off.
5. Tinted windows because it's hot in the summer.

Well, I did buy a base Bronco and wheels and tires were first.
Speakers and amp (in process)...
Aux switches
Minimalist bumpers to replace the plastic bumpers (building my own)...
Suspension upgrade (TBD)

Solid list! Rock chips are no joke, especially on these. Mud flaps and running boards are definitely a smart day-one move to protect the paint. We're actually looking into some new designs for those. What kind of running boards did you end up going with?

Building your own bumpers? That’s awesome! Wheels and tires seem to be the universal first step for a Base. How's the speaker and amp upgrade coming along? We know the factory sound system leaves a bit to be desired.

The same upgrade as my other 2 Broncos and that is Husky X-Act Contour floor mats.
Can't argue with that! Floor mats are one of those things you don't realize you need until you track mud in for the first time. Gotta protect that interior from day one.

I would do the same thing I did. Have clear quality wrap on the hood, front fenders, area under the grill and headlights.

PPF is such a smart first move, especially on the hood and front end where you take the most road debris.

That's a tough pill -- the 2dr V6 gap is real for a lot of people. Checked out your sig though, that's a solid build list. What's been your favorite mod out of all of them?

Hoo. That’s a tough one. I’m not really into modifying cars much. I guess I would say some EZ4x4 ALPHA toob doors. 😉
We really appreciate the shoutout! The Alpha tube doors are a great way to open things up without going full doorless. Do you currently run them or is that on the wish list?
