Thank you. But seeing as I'm traveling and will be out of communication (mostly) this weekend and coming week, I must abdicate and pass the mantle to @P52Ranch to issue the next challenge. Besides, the solar eclipse is still a kick-ass photo.

I have posted this before…it is the fancy bridge the Hi-Landers built in 2016 on the Barrett Lake Trail bypasing eviromental issues of the low meadow and creek crossing allowing the trail to reopen.

We've all seen this one before, but I like it for the fall foliage and the fact that this trail has been closed since Hurricane Helene.

But for something new that I don't think I've shared before:

@KABQ or anyone else traveling through North Central New Mexico, you can automatically win the bridge challenge if you post a picture of your Bronco on the Tres Piedras bridge. (Rio Grande gorge bridge)

Or, just fly a T-38 Talon under it and survive the highline wires south of the bridge.

I believe I’ve used this before, however I do live in the state with the most covered wood bridges still in use.

Just shots of the hood driving through the Meems Bottom Covered Bridge in Shenandoah County, Virginia.

Iron bridge built in 1869. One of only 5 left like it.

And a covered bridge built in 1850.

Both on the national registry of historic places.
