Third gear is grinding intermittently on my '22 Badlands 7 speed. 70K miles, and I'm not friggin' happy about it. What's the experience here with owners ??

An extended warranty ? yes I do.Common problem. Sounds like it probably needs a new 3rd gear synchronizer.
Do you have ESP?
Time to use it, or learn to double clutchAn extended warranty ? yes I do.
Is this just a symptom of normal wear (70k on OP’s vehicle) or is it brought on by some specific behavior/operation?Common problem. Sounds like it probably needs a new 3rd gear synchronizer.

Well that's good at least. Bring it to a dealer and have them fix it.An extended warranty ? yes I do.

Actually I noticed it from just a couple months driving it when first purchased. But it was so minor I thought maybe it was my fault, not fully engaging the clutch or my timing at the shiftstick ?Is this just a symptom of normal wear (70k on OP’s vehicle) or is it brought on by some specific behavior/operation?
Yep, been adjusting my shifting style to avoid that nasty little grinding.
