I swear I have searched the forums and have not found this. Please be gentle if it has already been discussed.

I have a ‘25 BL w/various options. When I try to use the steering wheel controls to switch to the next Sirius preset it only switches between the first two. I noticed there needs to be a blue bar above the current preset in order for the steering wheel controls to go to the next preset. If the blue bar isn’t present it will go back to the first preset.

If I manually switch presets I need to hit the preset twice. Once to make the switch and the second time to get the blue bar. It appears to be a known issue on the web. The only advice I found was to do a radio reset (hold radio power + right advance button on the steering wheel for 5ish seconds) or reprogram all presets. I tried the reset option and it worked great….for about 10 minutes. A second and third attempt failed. I have also reprogrammed all the presets in their desired order and in a different order just to see if it mattered. It did not nor did it work.

Any ideas? I haven’t found anything on either Ford’s nor Sirius’ websites and the only options on the web are listed above. Happy for any advice.

You can always try the old standby of discount the battery for 15 min and see if that resets everything.
The only time I had issues with the infotainment the reset you noted worked for me.

Try a reset by pressing in & holding the power button while simultaneously pressing the right seek >> button for about 10 seconds or so and the head unit will reboot.
