I just dropped my '21 4DR off yesterday for oil change, 5 tire rotation, and the touch screen not responding to touch. I also asked about having the windows tightened again.

I just got a call back and have been told I need an alignment, a new screen (second replacement, but covered under warranty) and to fix the window rattle it would be $1,153 for the new track. Ridiculous.

I love my Bronco, but I dread the day the extended warranty runs out. I won't be able to afford to keep it.

I have 2024 Black Diamond in for inspection at the dealership. I brought up that my front windows rattle when fully and partially down. The tech could not replicate it. I told them to keep trying, LOL! Anyway, the service advisor said this was fixed for all 2024 Broncos and it would not be covered even if they were able to replicate the window rattles. How can I verify if my vehicle is covered or not?

It was not fixed for all 2024 broncos, which is why the SSM is for 2021-2024. If 2024’s were already fixed, it wouldn’t include them lol

As far as coverage, your dealership has access to a website on PTS that they can enter the date, mileage, part number, etc. and it will say whether it’s covered or not.

Anything still under 3/36 would be covered.

The service advisor figured it out. It’s covered. He ordered the part to be delivered tomorrow. I decided to leave my car there another day instead of scheduling an appointment for another time.

Just out of curiosity, does Ford not have standardized dealership training? So many posts on this forum where the dealership seems totally lost and the customer has to walk them through. And thanks again for monitoring this forum and helping people out.

I printed out the SSM and handed it to the service advisor when I dropped mine off so there wasn't any confusion as to what I was asking them to look at and repair.

There is. But like anything else, some aren't very good at their jobs or don't care to be good 🤷‍♂️

Agreed - like most of the folks here, I had to complete the installation of the window molding after I got it back because it wasn't installed all the way. The driver side wasn't even clipped in all the way. I am DIY all day, so the 5 minutes wasn't worth arguing with anyone over.

I didn't think they'd ever address it. I had some particularly bad rattle-slaps on the highway today, I'll have to get whining to my dealer.
I had a couple disappear from the Ford App but the dealer is still showing them on their side.

brought my 23 in last week to my local dealership for severe rattle in the passenger's side door

they installed M2DZ-7821597-F.

on my drive home, on the first manhole cover, the rattle is as severe as before the fix.

are there any adjustments that go along with installing M2DZ-7821597-F to address the rattle?

That does t seem right. Mine is way better after the fix. It fixed about 90% or more of the rattling.

No adjustments. The parts are either installed correctly or they are not.

resolved: tech left a tool in the passenger door that was causing the new trim to not properly seat in position!
