Hey guys sorry I don't get on here often enough! Anyhow let's address some of these concerns. But first let me caveat this by saying that yes, this one product is not going to be the be-all-end-all product that is perfect for every single use-case. Case in point:

So, these sliders are obviously not designed as being the top choice for those who play primarily in the mud. That said, it shouldn't be much harder to flush them out than all the rest of the nooks and crannies up under your Bronco, after a mud run. There are no trapped cavities, in other words, everything can drain. If you're into some nasty gumbo and you don't have time to hose the rig down while the mud is still wet, and let it set up like concrete, you'll have as much hassle re-hydrating and flushing the mud out of the voids in these sliders as you will in the other tight areas under the Bronco. But yes, you are right, these weren't designed with mud bogging as their primary use.

$2k for rock sliders? really?
Two things: first, it's only $2K if you choose the aluminum, and the optional finish. Steel ones in black powder coat are $1,500. So, $500 less than what you dinged us for. And yes, that's still not cheap. We are building these things in the USA, with Americans who have to earn a living. For some that doesn't make a difference, but we do insist on making our products here. Are we the most efficient manufacturing operation on U.S. soil? Not yet, but we hope to get there someday. For now, we deal with smaller batches because we're a small company with only a couple of employees and not much of a name yet. But we hope that as we grow we'll be able to achieve better economy of scale. I will admit that this makes no difference to some folks who just want the lowest price they can find. We can't compete on that metric so we try to compete on features and quality. If the feature set we offer still isn't worth the price to someone, we have no hard feelings, by all means buy the product that matches your own preference for price and features. By the way if you check the other US-made products on the market, we aren't really out of line on our pricing. And remember, we are currently covering shipping to the lower 48.

The other thing I'm seeing is that y'all want to see action shots and the aftermath of them being used and abused. We're getting to that, I promise! But remember, like we say in the product information, if you drive your Bronco like it's a wrecking ball, you should probably opt for the steel ones. The aluminum ones will take some hits and scrapes, but it's just common sense that they won't take the same amount of abuse as the steel ones. They are 1/3 the weight though, so there are some who prioritize that over being bomb-proof.

Lastly, if you are local to me in Southern California, and regularly use your Bronco in the rocks, and might be interested in testing a set of these out, send me a DM, maybe we can arrange it.

Here are some pics from our little shop :)
