My Bronco Ended Up Starting Something Bigger

Hi everyone,


I’ve been around Bronco6G for a while, mostly reading, asking questions, and learning from everyone’s experience. This forum has honestly saved me from making a lot of expensive mistakes.


Over the last couple of years, my Bronco has slowly turned into my hobby. Every new modification led to another idea, another test, and another project. Some upgrades exceeded my expectations, while others taught me that not everything advertised actually makes a difference.


Somewhere along the way, I realized I enjoyed the research and testing just as much as driving the Bronco.


That eventually inspired me to open a small off-road shop here in Oman called Dunes Core. The idea isn’t just to sell parts—it’s to build a business around products I genuinely believe in after spending way too much time (and money ) testing things on my own Bronco.


I wanted to start this thread to share my experiences, future upgrades, and maybe a few lessons learned along the way. Hopefully, they’ll be useful to someone else, just like many of the threads here have been useful to me.

Hmmm... Maybe you have advice to offer regarding acquisition of a wind deflector actually compatible with the OEM Roof Rack on a '22 4dr?
I've been trying to find the Badass Tents item described by others on this forum. I've struck out with the sources discussed/recommended here on Bronco 6G and Reddit for these. I thought I found one, finally on Autoplicity, and ordered it. After 2 weeks waiting for notice I tracked it down to the warehouse that didn't update their inventory, from BAT. BAT definitively told me they weren't selling them well, and stopped making them. Autoplicity told me "they didn't pass inspection". Autoplicity was true to their word and refunded my money in full, without a hassle.
FWIW... I'm still looking for one or an alternative that someone with actual experience would recommend with no or minimal modifications for Ford OEM roof rack and is actually available.

Very nice! I would think there wouldn't be too much competition in your area, but I'm not familiar with that country at all.

It's good to start a business based on your passion. It will keep you motivated and customers will notice.

Ahmed, congratulations on starting this business, your part of the world needs these products and your expertise.

Suggestion: all the links on your site take me to an instagram app. Don’t know about others in your world but I don’t use instagram and never will use this intrusive time sink. Would be good if your links led to a conventional web site.

I could recommend some brands but the issue is since im in the GCC any roof rack recommendation from my end would have an issue of shipping to the US or it would b expensive to ship. But i could help u out in regards of what u should look for as i tested a lot of applications. I will try to post a thread on it soon or if u like ill call u to discuss. Would b happy to help in anyway

Thank you for the recommendation and the kind words, you are totally correct, im working on a proper e-commerce website and i have already discussed with many shops and dealers to advertise all the products there, will definitely post about the website as soon as it is done
