New member to the cracked MIC club

Looks like my fears have come true. Noticed a crack on the passenger side rear. On closer inspection it’s worse than it first appeared and is cracked a good distance along the length of the seam. No initiating event. Never used a roof rack. Never removed the top.

Warranty claim is started.

2024 4dr Badlands Sasquatch with 27k kms.

Thinking ahead for the post warranty period, what are people doing to repair. Anyone try injecting epoxy into damaged areas to hold things together?

That looks like it was struck by something and not like any of the cracking I've seen in person or pics shared online.

Keep us posted on the outcome of the claim, I am interested if Ford accepts this.

If your warranty is denied, consider some kind of a bed lining material, like Line-X. Search for the threads here, several have done it with great results, both DIY & professional application. It's what I will do, if I ever discover severe cracking.

I just had my top replaced last month (had it authorized just before my warranty expiration). The new top now has cracks (now out of warranty). I'm really hoping that Ford steps up about this and becomes more proactive. Surely they know about the issue. Considering how much they've put into the Bronco project as a whole, it surprises me how little they've done to acknowledge it and makes things right.

Mine cracked in February, Ford approved front and center panel replacements, not the rear cap. Since I only had 3k left on the warranty, didn’t want to chance it so I drove straight from the dealer to Line-X.
