Another BRaptor fender question on a forum majority of non-BRaptor Owners. Go over to one of the BRaptor forums and you’ll likely get a different mix ratio favoring the BRaptor flares.Current Wrangler 392 owner looking at the Filson Edition and the Raptor. I like that the Filson will have the 3.0 (albeit slightly tuned down a bit from the Raptor), but I’m not crazy about the wheels or the interior. I’ve owned two F150 Raptors so I’m familiar with that trim. Here’s my sticking point with the BRaptor: those obnoxious fender flares. I’m curious if other Raptor owners had the same concern and what you think now after owning one. The color matched flares do help but I still find them cartoonish. Any and all feedback is welcome. Thanks!
The black non-matching probably didn’t appeal to as many as the Paint matched. Although if you’re planning to rock crawl… the black may be best choice.
The paint matched Top and Flares to many, including myself are outstandingly sexy and nice looking. This is reinforced at so many gas station, food or rest stops. People constantly approach and compliment the BRaptor as being so fricken cool looking!
You’ll come across many non-Bronco Owners, Jeep Owners and Truck Owners of all Brands tell you how sharpe the BRaptor looks! I’ve had dozens of Jeep Owners yell across a gas station… several Pump Islands away… how sharpe or cool the BRaptor looks! I’ve had hard Ford Haters… approach me and say.. they’re not a Ford Fan, but that’s one Sweet Rig!
If ya like the BRaptor get it… if the Flares are gonna bug each time you look at it… move on to something else. Drive it across an open field, down a poor dirt road, and on Highway… it’s smoothness and stability control Will sell itself!
