Looks like they did everything in their power to pull as much green out of that paint as possible with that lighting and set.

First thing I thought of.

Which means that either this rig is HEAVILY photoshopped, or it wasn't sprayed with the factory color.

Pity. Trying to make a vehicle with only grayscale paint colors is an underwhelming and ridiculous decision, even in the binary society we live in today. Not every Bronco owner owns an art studio with Champaign and fancy cheese mixers.

I literally can't stand to look at this Bronco any more. It just pisses me off so much. A little thing like this in life shouldn't but it does. In the sage words of Buddy the Elf, "You sit on a throne of lies".

For those of your interested in CG- I recommend looking through this feed which has tons of photos in different lighting settings. Nothing will replace seeing these colors in person but the consensus from this and the sport feed is that the greenish tendencies are diminished in bright light but more apparent at low light.

I agree. But comparing it to the MACH 1, I still think it's pretty close. Mot people been posting pics with their cell phone where they over expose the photo or overdue the saturation. this is what it will look like on a hazy or cloudy day with a neutral background.

Either way, I'm a fan! I like colors that look different in different lighting and CG is one of those colors. DYNAMIC

I can look at these 2 vehicles all day! Seems like the same color to me ...

When I was a kid I used to combine every flavor of soda into the drink cup at convenience stores. The color above is essentially that, a few different grey's, a few different whites, lots of eggshell, and more than a few used condoms all blended up and turned into whatever the F that is supposed to be.

Half-hearted attempt by Ford. Was there a shortage of colors available? I mean, they had already covered:

1. Black
2. Slightly different black
3. White
4. light metallic gray (silver)
5. Dark metallic gray (gunmetal)

Some color engineer for ford woke up after an orgy, staring at the used condoms strewn about the KFC bathroom and thought "Lets throw some of this in with gray and white, it will be perfect!"

Boom, off-gray was added to bridge the gap between the five existing grayscale colors.

I've seen CG in person and it looks fantastic. The amount of light and the surroundings change the look of this paint and it's a good look from every perspective. I've seen 2 that were only 20' apart...one in the sun and one in the shade. Both looked fantastic!

I think the early production vehicles (as was shown in your photo) useda subtly different paint color. I think the CG we are seeing in the production Sports is the color we will get for the Bronco.

The orange and black stripes on the Mach 1 and its shape in general go a long way toward breaking up the grey

My other option is the Race Red .. Owned a 96mustang similar color and that thing was a head turner ... Now will it look good on a 2dr bronco ... ? The 4dr WT in Race Red looks great .. However the colors have a different affect from 2-4 doors .. Agreed Ford has failed regarding color choice for sure!

This is one of the best WT pix yet . . . while I am still not crazy about that beige dashboard this exterior with the black trimmings and wheels makes it hard to change my reservation (currently have 4 door Wildtrak but been looking at optioning an OBX instead . . . ). Best looking 4 door IMO, regardless of color.

Posted these in another thread but I think it was an old one and no one noticed. I think there are some CG fans here so I will risk deletion and post them again. This truck had just come off the trailer so it was filthy. CG is now my top choice. The green is not that pronounced, if at all. Do yourself a favor and get to a dealer to see the sports in person for your color choice. A51 was my top choice and I think its not great in person. Very flat.

Sorry, I'm not a pro photographer but I hope this can help some fellow Bronco addicts.

For those that don't have any broncos in their area and want comparisons for A51/Cactus Gray, just go look at Subaru Cool-Gray Khaki and Toyota Lunar rock...near identical colors.

The only real difference between a WT and a BL/Squatch is the badge, the grill, and the lack of rock rails.

Don't forget the Front Stabilizer Bar Disconnect is standard on the Badlands. But not even a option on Wildtrak.
