Oh man, so happy for you! It's nice to see someone - especially an AMB enthusiast - get what they want in the color they want, and at a great price.

Gotta say I'm a little jealous. Looks great!

I almost went AMB... sort of wish I had gone with that or Rapid Red just for the rarity, but Carbonized Gray was the final choice.

You wouldn't have to be jealous if Ford would just get you your Bronco.

Thought I’d share some photos. Not enough sun yet to make it pop. Love the gloss black OBX grille paired with antimatter and the standard bumper look. Beefy and matches the flares.

really happy I steered clear of the Wildtrak (paid a little more for the OBX) but the roast interior is great. It actually doesn’t photograph that well as sometimes it comes off with hints or orange and sometimes a little bit of red. But it look great in person. I was thinking about painting the beauty rings but the silver rings are one of my favorite things that make it pop.

overall love it more than I thought I would which says something. The Sasquatch ride is so smooth and planted, and the build quality didn’t bother me nearly as much as I thought.

also the fact that I was able to lock in invoice pricing was amazing. My immediate thought when I got behind the wheel and looked over the trail sights and antimatter blue hood, towering over SUVs on the highway was - yeah, I could totally see someone paying 80k for this build to skip the line. I’m one lucky SOB to place my day 1 res

leading up to placing my order I decided to blow through my budget and seek out the best looking build I could come up with sans an FE. The wait is long and this will hold value. This to me, is the most classic and beautiful combo. Every spec was picked with purpose. I foregoed the Wildtrak and paid more for the OBX. The grille and silver insert dash was a must. I skipped the mod bumper since the color clashed with the flares. I entertained the Wildtrak, but the grille was too flush, and snout like, and the lack of the silver dash insert killed it. The silver rings and correcly matched mirrors were meaningful. As was the period chrome emblem and hood without the Wildtrak graphic hiding the AMB paint.

All in all, this was the most beautiful bronco spec I could envision. Even if I ordered an FE i still may have gone with this build. It’s clean, timeless, and classic without losing its aggressive nature. I will own this until the wheels fall off and my toddlers will inherit this many years from now. I chased beauty at no cost.

Midnight blue on saddle. So classic.

Your Bronco is beautiful, but what I like most is how happy you are with it.

I was pissed off when they dumped the Antimatter Blue. I HATED the Erection Green and was contemplating dumping my order when I got moved to 22..... then, after looking at it for a while I started thinking maybe the green wasn’t really that bad...... Now I think the green is AWESOME!
What the hell is wrong with me?

Erection Green isn’t a bad looking color, but I hate how the MIC top looks on it. And I’m not waiting for black MOD top. (Not intentionally at least. Ford may have other plans.)

It’s pretty sad they do away with our color, then schedule to build our Bronco’s a week later in the new color they forced on us.... it kinda seems like they could’ve run a few more weeks of AMB!

FYI - 25% front tint was perfect. Not too dark for night driving, and multiplied with 80% stock window tint is pretty spot on to match factory rears which tend to be ~22%. Glad I didnt default to 20% tint like most do. 20 x .8 = 16%, which is pretty dark.

Great looking build! This is the only Outer Banks I’ve see that I like. The color matched mirrors and handles work well for AMB and that brown leather

Some light off-roading yesterday by Delaware water gap. First time maybe ever.

the routes were barely “off roading” but i was still blown away by the how much confidence you have whipping around dirt roads and harsh terrain. By the time I headed back I drove entirely different. My drive out was light radio and mild speed on gravel, and by the time I drove back, I was bombing down broken pavement with Metallica blasting on Sirius XM lol

trail turn assist is a cool party trick. Basically spun like a top. Look forward to using it in real world situations.

I just read your thread here and I am so glad you are enjoying your rig. It is a wonderful build and color. (I am now a MY22 build and AMB was my color choice.) Even without AMB option, I am not jealous because I will enjoy my rig just as you are. Many more years of fun to you with your Bronco, sir!
