My Bronco hasn't been started in 6 months and I didn't leave it on a tender. Now the stock battery won't take a charge at all. I replaced the battery and now have a slew of faults.
Has anyone been the guinea pig on this yet? I hoping wasp spray won't discolor the MIC parts, mostly worried about the top.
If all else faiIs I might just soak it in lighter fluid and burn it down.
Based on the Ranger's rating it's clear the 2.3 can pull a ton of weight but people still doubt it. I'm pushing the sane limits of the Bronco here at about 5500lb but there is zero lack of go power.
With the WDH it's very stable and confidence inspiring at 60 while knocking out 14mpg.
Got around to fixing my rock scrape today. It's not perfect but it's acceptable now. I used the Mother's headlight restoration kit but had to start out with my own 220 grit, then 400, before moving to the most coarse pad in the kit, 800. I could probably get it perfect if I kept at it with the 220.
I haven't seen anyone do this yet and I've never been afraid of being a trailblazer.
My stock sliders have done a real number on my rockers, crushed them in quite a bit and they're somewhat crowned in the center too, rubbing on the door bottom.
It looks like a 3x4 or 3x5 tube on it's side will...
October 4th I set off to run the Rubicon with the Inland NW Bronco Club. I arrived at Airport Flat campground 10/5 and we started the trail 10/6. We finished 10/8. I didn't do the buggy stuff but I took as many of the hard lines as was reasonable and it performed very well.
I just built and installed a permanent air hose. Instead of dealing with a bulky 4 way, I now have 4 double ended locking chuck hoses just 4' long each.
I know this comes with the territory to a degree but I was wondering who else is battling leaks with Sasquatch wheel beadlocks and what steps you took. The air is coming from the metal to metal mating surface.
I thought I've seen these mentioned but nothing came up in search. Looking for one that fits the back seat.
I think it would make a great cargo tie down point.
Just got back from a pretty epic trip. 63 miles in the back country of Canada.
It was supposed to be 6 Broncos and a Ranger but @66GT didn't have his rig together and took a Jeep, so the ducking had to happen.
This is the first significant event I've organized and led and I want to thank...
Yesterday during a long steep muddy hill climb I got the "4x4 temporarily disabled" message. I was in Rock Crawl, 4L with rear locker on. It turned off the locker and 4wd resulting in instantaneous stoppage of forward progress.
I've seen threads where that message is associated with 4A and the...
I'm kind of jealous that we didn't get these. But I also can't think of a single thing I could use it for.

They're not designed specifically for the Bronco and hence are crooked. You're welcome.
It's fitting though, the original Bronco had lots of parts lifted from the F-Series, these carry the torch in a small way.
