Awesome thanks for that I looked that up and yes That's what I should have got the first time around. What I use was just a generic extender with a pin that effectively allowed them bikes to bounce around.
On the drop hitch, with the bikes loaded how much play is there that comes between the drop hitch and the receiver on the Bronco?? Not the Kuat and drop hitch I understand that can be tightened with the dial . I tried adding an extension to my kuat but there's no way I'm going down the highway...
I asked the same question on a different thread and the answer is yes you can safely run the lower octane fuels. It's important to know because at some point we may not have a choice or a spouse driving your Bronco may inadvertently fill it with regular. I posted the link below...
That's is correct or my understanding. In my case this would be for price protection. So the manufacturer will have to write a check to for the price protection for the specific Bronco to the dealership. And from that point we are to get reimbursed from Stephens.
I took delivery last week and was informed this can take anywhere from 30/60/90 days. What I am not sure is who exactly is responsible for initiating the process, the dealership or manufacturer. Either way I will be following up on this because this is a big chunk of change to be left on the...
Gotcha, that makes sense. I don't miss much and I got an eye for the EB's. The 77 is the creme de la creme of the EB's for the fuel door lids and can be spotted from a distance .
That's a nice build you have going but looks like Life events in 17 threw a wrench in all that, sorry to hear...
Learned to drive on a 69 half cab and over the years had a75,76 and 78 and now 23. Question for you,the rear quarter panel on your 77?? project build did you replace that?
I just took delivery of my Badlands 2 door and I love it. But I can discern the difference between road noise, tire noise due to lack of sound deadening and insulation @75 mph vs air rushing through the seals on both sides just behind the doors which is deafening! I will be addressing this very...
However the original Gen 1 was designed to compete with the Jeep CJ and IH Scout . The Blazer was introduced 2-3 years after the Bronco. So clearly Ford shifted their focus and morphed the Bronco into an F-150 (which led to it's demise). And now Ford reintroduced the Bronco to compete with the...
I took delivery of this on Friday. I have to admit that I was questioning my decision to drop an extra 1k on a color that I never saw in person. Soon as I drove up to the dealership I spotted it and I was amazed. This color is stunning and just looks beautiful. My camera doesn't do it justice...
Congratulations on your Bronco. It's amazing you held on to that Jeep for all these years. How are things in Tally? That's where I was born and raised but don't live there anymore though.
I would be totally surprised if Ford dropped the two-door for the 24 refresh . I think I read it has a much higher take rate for the two door Bronco than the Jeep Wrangler's 2 door. Of course I'm biased and think the 2 door Bronco looks better than any Wrangler.😁😁😁
Some people get up tight when I mentioned that the real Bronco was discontinued in '77. I owned three first Gens and one second gen and I did like the second gen but it was really an F-150 with a camper shell on the back. And from that point it morphed into something different than its...
That's exactly what I did on my second gen, that 351M/400 was effectively a boat anchor. Dropped in a 429 thunder jet and any power issues or struggles that Bronco had were resolved instantly with that power plant. The only drawback I had to run premium in it.
