If youāre looking for excuses to buy extra bumpers go for it, but I simply added a $200 winch plate and a warn 9.5k winch onto my mod bumper and there is zero noticeable effects on driving/braking.
I went 2.7, 4dr, hard top, Sasquatch, mod bumper. Base. Love it, all the stuff I really care about (power, off-road performance, seating for 5/bigger gas tank, etc) and the ability to upgrade other things (I have stuff to install front camera, already added sliders and tow hitch, can add...
Took a rock chip in week 2, then another bigger rock hit 7 months later that split the glass side to side. $1300 for a new windshield, make sure you kids have full insurance for that thing!
Picked up my base 7MT yesterday, immediately swapped for badlands wheels/tires I had waiting for it in the driveway. Iāve had my 4dr Basesquatch 2.7 since March, so itās been neat to compare and contrast. Love driving the 2 door! Looks perfect on 33ās, love the manual trans, turning radius, and...
Finally arrived! Took a check down to the dealer and picked it up. 5 miles on the odo. 10 miles later, it was in my driveway and I installed the badlands wheels/tires that have been patiently waiting. Huge improvement! Now time to order a Bronco script for the naked front fender. Loving the base...
Man, people really getting butthurt by someone pointing out flaws in their vehicle. Hereās mine: I hate the frameless windows, the sleight catch every time I open it is stupid. I think the 10 speed auto in this is annoying. I donāt notice it in my expedition, but I hear way too many gear shifts...
Mine is parked at the railyard in Salt Lake City. 45 minute drive from there to my dealer. Fingers crossed any impending rail strike doesnāt strand me there!
I just picked up a 2 dr jk rubicon on 37ās for serious stuff, keeping my 4dr Sasquatch stock, light and lean for fast trail exploring. While there is quite a bit of capability overlap, they both excel at some things, and itās good to be honest about their relative shortcomings.
A friend of mine just bought a wrangler rubicon for the very reasons you are thinking about it. He kept his bronco order just in case, but got tired of waiting (He was an Oct 2020 reservation, still no VIN). He loves it. Jeeps are awesome, better than broncos in many ways. Do it!
Uh, wrong. Saying you can learn to drive it straight doesnāt do anything to change the fact that there is an issue with its drivability. There arenāt countless people on forums complaining about broncos wandering, thereās no learning curve to drive broncos straight. Itās a Jeep thing. Jeep...
I bought a new gladiator rubicon last year, drove it for 5k miles, then traded it in for my tundra which I still have, along with my 2.7 sasquatch 4 dr. Iāve put over 6k miles on the bronco. For sure the wandering is a thing, anyone who says itās not is in denial or doesnāt care. It bothered me...
Iām a base apologist. My basesquatch 2.7 4 dr was $45k and has everything I want, super happy with it. I have a second bronco coming which is a true base, zero upgrades. Going to drop some badlands or black diamond take offs for cheap and leave as is on that one, if you arenāt wanting 35ās and...
