⏳ Bronco Raptor now being scheduled for production & VIN assigned

For those of us who aren’t and won’t be scheduled in MY22-
Do you think Ford drops the GT allocation that really doesn’t exist anyway, and then puts us back in cue for whatever we had originally ordered?

Because of the one time nature of the GT allocation program, I question whether or not they extend it across model years.

If we get bumped to 2023 it better be for a Raptor and some sweet new features.

My dealer messaged me and gave me a 8/15-8/27 delivery window. They gave me that window with little effort on my part too They contacted me first too. Anyone else hear anything similar? They have been good on communication with me throughout and their dates have matched what I see on the tracker. Although right now I’m stuck In Production status even though I know it’s alive due to the ford pass app incident last week. Got my tear tag and a G at the end of my module report too

dealer reached out to me 4 weeks ago and said that mine was scheduled to be delivered the following week. my understanding is that zero have been released for delivery

Mine said 8/28 with the window being 8/22-28. That said, those dates are depending on the general initial release of Raptors for shipping which doesn’t seem to have happened yet.

I often wonder how much less of a shit show this would be if Ford limited the number of initial reservations to say 40000, and then allowed 1/3 of production (including any rollovers) for retail order reservations each year at the opening of order banks.

This is true, but would there be more early reservations delivered? Less of a end customer perception that this is a disaster launch?

IIRC none of the Raptor scheduling have occurred during a normal schedule week.

Mine came early in a scheduling week.

Also, moving to priority 1 probably signals @Johnny Mo ‘s dealer has been told they’ll get a production week slot scheduled and asked which order they want prioritized.
