Oh man....not feeling great about timing for the MICs. Are they still going through QC? I made a comment on the last set of photos that only 1 out of 4 four doors had MIC tops, and my antenna was up. Now there isnt a MIC top in sight!

Mid January - 25/75% hard/soft top on the 4 door. Some testing on fastback soft top on 2 door
Now - 0/100% hard/soft top on the 4 door. 2 drs have NO tops

For those wondering what the math is... Start Date May 1, 2021 - End Date November 30, 2021 (7 months of production) = 214 Calendar Days (excluding holidays and weekends) at 1,000 per day that's 214,000. That means we are all getting MY21s!!!!!!

This is starting to give a deeper view into how much of an issue roof supply is at the moment.

A few soft tops thrown in the mix, but overall these are being built for the dealership displays and the roofs will get added sometime later. Perhaps before they ship out, perhaps not!

JIT inventory at a global scale is a marvel of scaled accuracy when it works. This is the first time the world is seeing a comprehensive failure of that system. Can only wonder at what other parts are in drastically short supply or non-existent.
