My dealer got me a Railcar #TTGX973491 but all updates seem to be stuck in Chicago? If you wouldn't mind helping out a couple of Idaho guys from losing their minds, it would be greatly appreciated. Your train is departing at 2100. You transfer in Pine Bluff, AR ETA 12/16 @ 1320 to another train (to be assigned). Final ETA has been updated too! It's looking good for Christmas.

I don’t think that’s it at all. They know exactly how to fix it, I mean, they know how to install them on the line after all, so can’t be much more than reversing that process and putting new one in. Dealers replace airbags all the time. What I think they’re doing is prioritizing the production of new vehicles, specifically while they were finishing out the MY21 run. We’re only 553 people, so easy for them to ignore, though I wish the media would run a follow-up on this recall and how Ford is refusing to make it right. The letters about the process for the official fix were supposed to be mailed by 11/19, so we’re nearly a month from that time and I haven’t seen that yet. Ford can’t even manage to mail out a letter like they’ve promised. I think once the MY21s are done being built the part and process will suddenly become available, and if that’s what the holdup was then that is absolutely unacceptable and just piss-poor action on Ford’s part - not that I’m surprised at all given they’ve been shitting all over so many people waiting for Broncos from the get-go.
Ah, well, looks like I’m not the only one then. I have an AMB Wildtrak that was built 8/4, sent to DM for the top, released early October and while in transit got hit with the recall stop-sale, so back into quarantine it goes, only now it’s worse because it’s actually on the ground at the dealer and I can’t even pick it up, all while people built as recently as the past 2 weeks get theirs delivered and picked up. I’ve never seen such a poor excuse for customer service as Ford has shown through this entire launch, and to sit on info like they are and refuse to pass it along is just bullshit.
YES! @TreasureValley we are moving! That is great news to start the morning with. If only I could meet it in SLC.You are not in Chicago anymore! The haulers pick up at the Roper Yard, SLC.
