We’ve already lost a large number of 11/29ers to the 12/6 BW. Hopefully removing two days worth of builds helps relieve the 11/15 - 11/22 lag.

Unfortunately, that also means that people are going to get pushed into the 12/6 BW, and some of those guys will be pushed into 12/13 and so on. You’re already seeing the bumps happening.

Take a look at the graph below. What you'll see are some "ghost" outlines at the top of each bar; those are rescheduled builds (that appear elsewhere on the chart). The rest of the future bars are scheduled builds. Significantly, the number scheduled for 12/13 is very low compared to other weeks. So while what you describe may push back MY22s, it still looks like there's a decent chance that the scheduled MY21s will be built - albeit perhaps a few days later than anticipated.

MAP must have left a week of float (unscheduled) floor time to ensure they complete all MY21s in 2021. That’s what I’d consider if I was managing risk and understood my production line’s historical productivity, though I wouldn’t know how much float to allow as I don’t know those numbers.

Before it would say “Order processing” and it was like that ever since I got my VIN on September 16. Today is when I noticed it changed.
