Once again disappointed in the Bronco brake actuated traction control. Hey Ford, since you are pushing out software updates, how about improving the traction control algorithm? Leave the android/car play whatever fluff for some other scrum sprint.

Here the Wrangler takes on the trail section unlocked with little drama, while the Bronco just before apparently needed lockers and still had some difficulty. Can't fix the lack of front travel but at least fix the traction control:

Watched video. To me it seemed like more of a tire test at that high of air pressure. Throw the good years out and try another test TFL.

I'll agree that the GOAT modes traction control leaves a bit to be desired, I've used it a couple of times and simply ignore it unless it's to screw around in Sport mode or Eco. Simply using low range turns off the traction control and (I think dang near all of the stability control) and you can actually let the machine do some work. I do use the lockers a bunch, but not as much as the sway bar disconnect - it's a game changer.

What they were "rock crawling" on is some weak ass stuff IMHO - let's talk when hit stuff like this all weekend long.

This thing gets worked and everything takes a lick'n - super impressed with the GoatFab sliders though.

It's big, wide, will hang tires here and there and will mostly go anywhere within reason that I point it, but it does have it's limitations. You do need a driver mod though - solid front axles are very forgiving.

What angle are those sliders? They look like they hug the body pretty well.

The kid's first car purchased was a 2 door base wrangler. If you sense bias, you are not wrong. Overall I think the Bronco is a better value purchase. I have yet to purchase one. Still weighing my options with input from the Wife and her Father

I understand people want to scream bias a lot of times but, have to give it to the Jeep that it was able to use its traction control system to traverse up similar terrain as the Bronco without its lockers and while on a smaller tire. I hate how the Jeep rides and I feel it is way too cramped for me, but the Jeep did well here.

I feel TFL was afraid to claim a winner of this test because of backlash from the huge Jeep and Bronco communities. That Jeep Price is crazy expensive and that is only on 33s! Broncos can be expensive aside from the Braptor but not that crazy.

I think Tommy doesn't realize Ford disables the traction control system in 4Low. Jeep apparently does not. I personally always click on the rear locker at least if it looks like I will need it. Tommy also needs to apply gas and not give up so easily.

The Jeep can out articulate the bronco even with the sway bar disconnected but with lockers, you are still going where the stock Jeep is. I love seeing Bronco content and look forward to more. Take the Jeep and Bronco through the Rubicon trail!

Bronco is king of all things. It can do no wrong. You pointing out that another vehicle can do things better than a Bronco makes you biased.
